The physician, a wise and experienced old man who is trusted and loyal to Chancellor, examined Dharya's wounds and shook his head. "He's already weak from the blood clots, and the weapon used to injured him. They might have used poison on the weapon, which slowly cause molting and damage his internal organs. I'm afraid he may not survive."
Physician continue"The wound will get infect because of the posion, there seems to be a strange residue on the wound, like he has scorpion bite."
Chancellor asked "Poison? What kind of poison?"
Physician explain "I'm not entirely sure, but based on the symptoms and the residue, I would guess that it's a rare scorpion venom. As far as my knowledge goes, only the blood of the same scorpion can be used to make the antidote."
Maanvika asked "What? That's impossible,How can we possibly find that scorpion?"
Physician shook his head and said "I'm afraid it's not just a matter of finding the scorpion. The scorpion's blood is extremely rare and difficult to obtain. And even if we could find it, it would require a skilled alchemist to create the antidote."
Maanvika questioned"Skilled alchemist? What do you mean?"
Physician give them clarity "I mean that the person who created this poison must have been an expert in alchemy. The only one who would know how to create the antidote is the one who created the poison in the first place."
Dharya mother pleading said "That's impossible. We can't just sit back and do nothing, find a way to save my son"
Physician shooking his head bowing said "I understand your concern, but I'm afraid it's not that simple.the only person who knows the antidote is the same person who made it and that person must work for palace."
Dharya's mother was overcome with emotion as she rushed towards Maanvika, her eyes blazing with anger and tears streaming down her face.
"Why did you let him get hurt?" she cried, her voice shaking with rage. "Why did you mess with my son's life?"
Maanvika stood frozen, unable to move or speak as Dharya's mother slapped her across the face.
"I regret the day we took you in," she sobbed, her body shaking with grief. "You've brought nothing but trouble to our family."
Maanvika felt a stinging sensation on her cheek, but she didn't flinch. She knew she deserved the slap, deserved the anger and the hurt.
"I'm sorry, mother" she whispered. "I never meant for this to happen."
Chancellor pull Maanvika aside and look at his wife shouting "Why are you angry with Mithali? She is innocent in all this."Dharya's mother accused "Innocent? She's the reason our son is lying in bed, fighting for his life,If he hadn't been so reckless taking some unknown what we knows about her past, so impulsive, this never would have happened"
Chancellor turn to Maanvika "Mithali, I'm sorry. His Majesty he is someone we are't possible opponent, but we tried our best to protect you,his majesty may already have known our family is connected to you. I'm afraid if I don't tell His Majesty about you, he will take our family down."
Maanvika looked up her cheek red "This is evil,How could the king do this?"
Chancellor make her sit and said "His Majesty has passed a decree, making it a priority task for the soldiers to capture you, Mithali."
Maanvika questioned him "why me I m an ordinary girl, what does the king wants?"
Chancellor sit next to her "Many people are seeing you as a treasure to be presented to him. The reward is high, and many officials are using wise tactics to get to you"
