18~ Lies

¥ 1 1/2 Months Later ¥

LUKE's POV

I sit in bed tapping away on my phone, as Calum takes a shower. I hear his phone ding.

"Luke? Can you get my phone?" Calum asks from the bathroom.

I grab his phone and see a notification from an unknown number.

'I know you ran off. I'll find you soon and then I'll get my revenge. You can't hide forever'

"Who texted me?" Calum says exiting the bathroom.

" 'I know you ran off. I'll find you soon and then I'll get my revenge. You can't hide forever' " I read the message aloud.

"Who's that?" I ask Calum.

Calum turns pale and stays quiet.

"Calum who's that?" I repeat more seriously.

"It's um no one" he stutters.

"Are you hiding something from me?" I ask sternly.

"Luke," Calum sighs stepping towards me.

"Get away from me." I step away from him. "I thought I could trust you" I look at him hurt.

"You can-"

"No. I can't. Who is he?" I ask again.

"He's your father" Calum sighs.

"What?" I whisper. "Why did he say that?" I say loud enough for him to hear.

"A week or so after they said you were dead, I found out he caused the crash. So I went off at him and things got a bit out of control." Calum says with glassy eyes. I look at him in shock.

"You hid this from me." I stutter stepping away from him. A tear slips down my cheek.

"I only did it to protect you" Calum cries.

"Is that why we came here? To hide? Not because you love me. You want to hide" I scoff as realisation hits me. "You lied to me"

"How do I know everything else wasn't a lie too?" My voice cracks.

"Do you even love me?" Tears fall down.

"Of course I do" Calum chokes.

"Then why did you lie to me? Why did you hide this from me?" I ask through my blurry vision.

" I did it for your protection lukey" he says trying to cup my cheek until I slap his hand away and look at him in disgust.

"Don't call me that"

"Come on Luke, please listen to me" Calum sighs.

I say nothing. I just run out of the room and out of the house. I can't believe he would do this to me. How long did he hide this from me? Does he even care about me?

After a while I realise I'm lost in a forest. I fall on my knees and break down, Here and now. I bring my knees up to my Chest and sob quietly.

"Luke?" I hear a familiar voice say.

"What are you doing here?" I sniffle.

"I saw you run out so I followed you to make sure your okay" he pants. After catching his breath, he comes up to me, helps me up and engulfs me in a warm hug. I sob on his chest wrapping my arms tightly around his torso.

"H-H-he lied to me." I sob.

"Shhhh. It's okay. I'm hear" he coos stroking my hair while rubbing my back comfortingly.

I look up at the shimmering pair of emerald green eyes and stare admirably into them.

I see Michael stare into my eyes in the same loving way before taking a quick glance at my lips and trailing back up to my eyes. I feel him leaning in as his hot breath dances across my lips. Before I know it I lean in slowly as well. Our lips brush against each other's, until he fully presses them together.

Our lips move in perfect sync before Michael quickly pulls away, both kiss and hug.

"I'm sorry." He blushes attaching the back of his neck awkwardly.

MICHAEL's POV

God that was....whoa.

"I don't know what happened." Luke chuckles and his lips curve into a tiny smile. "I just looked into your eyes, and then your lips and they looked so soft and you were sad and I like to see you happy so-" I get cut off by a pair of pink and soft lips pressed against mine. The cold metal presses on my lip. We move perfectly as I place my hand on the back of his neck and kiss him a little more rougher. Luke
Places his hands back on me and grips my waist. I brush my tongue on his bottom lip before he lets my tongue enter his mouth. We battle softly enjoying each other's embrace and passion in the kiss.

Suddenly Luke pulls away and tears up. He runs away again. I sigh before running after him again

"Luke!" I shout running after him. He stops and collapses on his knees. I walk up to him.

"Luke" I sigh crouching down to his level.

"I found out my boyfriend just hide stuff from me and lied to me and now I just cheated on him with my best mate. And I don't know what's worse, the fact that I cheated on him or that I like it" Luke sobs. He likes me too? Oh god this is so fucked up.

"Come here" I sigh at the crying blonde boy. He hugs me tightly slightly shaking.

"Michael?" He asks looking up at me.

"Yea, Luke?"

"I'm scared" he cries.

"Me too Luke. Me too" I sigh hugging him warmly.

We sit there, with my arm around his shoulders and his arms around my waist.

"Mikey?"

"Hmm?"

"Sing to me like old times?"

I start singing softly, "you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away.." I finish. I see Luke's head leaning on my chest with his eyes closed.

"That was beautiful Michael" Luke says with his eyes still shut up.

"I like your hugs. Wanna know why?" I ask.

"Why?"

"Their Luke-warm" I say cheekily. I hear Luke laugh at my stupid joke and hug me tighter.

"I like your hugs too"
