You take a seat in your usual coffee shop setting your bag and pages down and removing your jacket to hang over the back of the armchair you were sat on. The sound of the machines whirring heating milk and the smell of coffee beans kissed your senses. You sighed heavily watching Suguru stand in queue eyeing up the sweet baked goods in the glass casings. As you waited, you grabbed your phone to check your messages, realising you never saved Gojo's number as a contact. You saved it under "Satoru" aligning with how you saved your other numbers on first name bases.

You opened Instagram and decided you hadn't even had the time to post things from Friday night. You liked to keep your feed up to date with what you were up to, an online scrapbook of memories viewable whenever. So you clicked to add to your story and scavenged through your photos. This was the first time you had reviewed them since the night.

You saw many selfies from both Geto and Gojo from when they would take your phone and litter it with photos of themselves. There were also photos of drinks, videos of dancing and a cute photo of yourself and Geto cheersing your drinks enjoying the moment. You posted that one onto your instagram story, tagging his account and added it to a highlight.

You saw a few photos of yourself and Gojo but decided against posting those. Something didn't feel right about posting them, like you had a strange gut feeling telling you not to. You were quite fond of the photo Geto must have orchestrated you both to pose for - with his hand around your waist and yours around his shoulders as you planted a kiss on his cheek with his smug grin emulating through the screen. The image burned itself into your mind.

Whenever you saw that smile he has, you felt yourself grow weaker, feeling your stomach tingle with nerves and subconsciously smiling softly.

When Geto placed the drinks down onto the table separating your chairs, as well as a plate with a slice of chocolate cake you placed your phone back into your pocket and reached for the drink. He took a seat and watched your actions.

"Thankyou." You say bringing the mug to your lips again. He nodded calmly, he sat unusually upright compared to his usual slouch or slump and had his hands placed together in his lap. He seemed anxious for what he wanted to say but couldn't figure out what were the right words.

"So what's up with you?" You question with a soft frown planted on your face.

"Well, first things first you're telling me what happened Friday night." He sighs, causing you to internally groan.

"You aren't my mother, Suguru."

"But you're both my best friends, I know what I said that night of how great he would be for you but-"

"But what? You regret that already or something?" You bite back jumping down his throat to ease some of the frustration he had been causing to build up in you all day.

"No I just- ugh" He sighs touching the bridge of his nose. "I don't think his intentions were as good as I initially thought." He quietly confesses, causing your stomach to drop slightly.

"Explain."

"It's a long story but-" He exasperatingly sighs.

"I have time." You snap crossing your arms across your chest and leaning further back into your seat.

"Well, you see when Satoru and I go out, we used to have this bet-" He begins.

"Right..." You slowly nod.

"And if one of us is able to take a girl home from the bar from that night, um" He awkwardly confesses "-then the other has to send over 50." He looks at you with guilt drowning in his face, he knew you hated guys with that sort of sporting motive attitude to women. The words spilling from his lips made you cringe at the thought.

But regardless, you knew Geto was the type of guy who would never hurt a girl for just the sake of it, you know he treated women well the morning after even if his motives were pure sexual lust. He cared a lot for Shoko and you, so hearing this from him was... uncomforting. He saw the disgust form on your face and immediately started to word vomit.

"It really used to be something from our University days I swear, I never do that stupid shit anymore y/n, well, there was that one time from last year but I only did it because remembered the deal and did need the money so I sent him the money request... But anyways, ever since then he always brings it up when we are out but even if he requests money the next day I never send it. I swear." His defence made you feel more at ease, your perspective of him didn't change significantly like he feared as you knew he was always a bit of a playboy - but after your friendship of so many years and genuine care and worry for when girls went out with him settled your mind.

"So..." He exhales, "When he requested the money in the morning I laughed at his bullshit because you told me you got home in the morning so I knew he was lying. I called him and told him I knew he was a liar because of what you said-" You cringe inside knowing what's coming anticipating the sharp pain of when a band-aid is ripped off.

"-But when he sent me this-" He says reaching into his pocket grabbing his phone opening his messages with Satoru.

You saw a photo of Gojo, selfie posing with the fattest grin on his face with his thumbs up with your sleeping body in the frame - your face showing in the photo proving his success.

Gojo: I would never lie to you Suguru ;)
 Saturday - 12:52pm

My God what a dick move...

You sighed slow and leaned back into the chair. Silence filled the conversation, causing Geto to put the phone back in his pocket and cautiously view your reaction. You felt a sense of betrayal but knew you had no reason to actually get mad at Gojo. It was a casual hook up and he was allowed to do whatever about it - but intentionally going out of his was to brag to make work uncomfortable for you by most definitely shifting your relationship with Geto. What an asshole.

"Are you okay?" He asks when you stay silent for a while thinking your thoughts out.

"I'm fine." You nod trying to shake your thoughts away bringing your nails to your lip and picking the skin subconsciously.

"So at first I was mad at you then well, I was frustrated you got yourself in that situation and I allowed it. I hate seeing him hurt girls and I thought things wouldn't be that fast between you two, I care a lot about you y/n and never wanted you to just be a one night stand with him." You listen to the way he talks, using his hands to further express his passion.

"But then... he called you this afternoon." He pauses, putting so much emphasis on the importance of the action.
"He would never do that to a girl of just one night so... my mind changed. I think I just jumped to conclusions and I shouldn't have taken that out on you so... I'm sorry y/n." He looked at you sympathetically.

"I'll forgive you on one condition-" You begin, raising your eyebrow. He looks at you knowing what you were thinking starting to smile.

"I'll send it you don't worry. It's about time someone gives him shit." He laughs. You finish up your coffee and talk more small talk. You send him the photos from Friday and enjoy each others company. It was always good to hang out with Suguru - the guy knew you so well and makes you laugh and smile.

You checked the time and realise it was getting close to 6, knowing you needed to inform Utahime of everything that happened, you thought your should get home and unpack your stuff and change.

You thanked Suguru and he walked you to the underground station.

"Call me when you're back." He waved.

"Always." You smile. You wanted to get home quick so you would be able to drop by his on your way to Utahime's and have plenty of time to talk so you wouldn't be late to Utahime. You start imagining all the things you want to say, anxious for what was to come.
