Maloi's POV
"You know you don't have to keep visiting me here, right? I'm not complaining naman pero baka kasi I'm wasting your time." Sabi ni Mikha.
We're still at the hospital for monitoring. 3 days na ang nakalipas simula nung magising siya and I'm thankful kasi umaayos yung kondisyon niya.
"I'm not wasting my time with you. Gusto nandito ako." Sagot ko then umupo sa upuan malapit sa bed niya.
"Bukas na yung Grad Ball diba? No need to come here para makapagprepare ka."
"I'm planning not to go. Wala naman akong date and I don't think mag-eenjoy ako." Walang gana kong sagot. Wala naman siya tomorrow.
"Please punta ka dun. Minsan lang yun. And you don't need a date to go there. You have friends naman na pwede mong samahan."
"Ayaw mo lang ata nandito ako eh."
"What? No! I like your company pero gusto kong mag-enjoy ka. Not because I'm not there hindi ka na pupunta."
Wala na akong nagawa kundi sumang-ayon sa kanya. I'm hoping na hindi ganun ka-busy si Colet para kahit papaano may kausap ako dun.
"Once na gumaling ako, let's go out. Punta tayo beach. I just want to relax and deserve mo din yun." Mikha stated.
"How did you know I like the beach?" As far as I can remember, hindi ko naman yun nabanggit sa kanya.
"It doesn't matter. Ano? Deal?"
"Deal."

It's our Grad Ball. Nandito ako sa venue which is sa school gym lang namin. Everyone is wearing their best dress and suit. I'm wearing a simple black dress. Gabi na rin kaya yung ibang mga program and performances ay tapos na.
Our school band is currently performing a slow music that made everyone dance with their partner. Nakaupo lang ako sa table namin while watching them.
"Can I have this dance?" Napatingin ako sa nagsalita. It's Maki. He's wearing a black suit and a bow tie tapos nakasuot din siya ng Harry Potter glasses.
I took his hand and naglakad kami sa crowd. "I never really thanked you for defending me before. Thank you Maloi." Sabi niya sakin.
"It's fine. And I'll always defend you if kailangan." Nakangiti kong sagot.
"I have reason talaga why I asked you to dance with me. First is, well, I want to and want to thank you. Second, I'm here to deliver a message. This person wants to tell you na "what I love about you. I love seeing you smile. It's like a ray of sunlight amidst of my dark night."" Maki stated that made me confused. Sino naman may pakulo nito?
"What? Ano ba to?" Takang tanong ko.
"Can I steal her from you Maki?" Napatingin ako sa nagsalita and it's Gwen.
"Sure." Maki gentle pull from me and si Gwen naman yung kasayaw ko.
"Anong pakulo na naman to Gwen?" Tanong ko. Natawa lang si Gwen sakin.
"Hayaan mo na. Just go with the flow ka na lang. This person wants to tell you "Despite our differences, I love how you accepted me. You never made me feel like I'm not worth it.""
Tuloy-tuloy lang yung kanta and ngayon naman, si Aiah yung humiling na isayaw ako.
"I'm sure hindi mo rin sasabihin kung sino may pakana nito?" Pabiro kong tanong kay Aiah.
"Yes kaya wag na maraming tanong. Ngayon pa lang kinikilig na ako hahaha.. anyways, this person wants to tell you "I love how pure your heart is. Sometimes I'm worried because you're too good and you don't deserve the cruelty of this world. If only I can keep you away from it, I will do it. You deserve all the happiness in this world.""
Aiah let me go. Pero wala ng sumunod na nag-ask na isayaw ako. Pero hindi pa natapos when someone handed me a flower na kulay dilaw. A yellow rose.
Each flower na marerecieve ko, merong papel with instructions kung ano dapat kong gawin. By following the instructions, I found myself sa garden ng school. May mga pailaw sa loob which is hindi part nitong Grad Ball.
Naglibot ako sa loob ng garden and there I saw Colet standing holding a white rose. She wearing a long green sleeveless dress and it perfectly hug her body. Her hair flowing down beautifully and she has a light make up. Ngayon ko lang siya nakita ngayong gabi.
"Colet? Wow. You look beautiful." Sabi ko.
"Thanks. Minsan lang to, sulitin mo na. You look stunning as well." Sabi niya.
"Ikaw nagprepare nito?"
"I'm just here to support you. Here take this." She handed me the flower. "Always remember you deserve to be happy. If pinaiyak ka niya or sinaktan ka niya, itatakas kita."
"Sino ba may pakulo nito?" I impatiently asked. Colet point pass me so I turn around. Nagulat ako ng makita ko kung sino yun. It's Mikha. She's wearing a black pantsuit and a black stilettos.
"Mikha? What are you doing here?"
"I'm here for you. I asked your friends na tulungan ako and buti I convinced them. I'm planning to wear a dress pero I can't because of my bruises and stitches."
"Iwan ko muna kayo. Just so you know Mikha, whatever happens here, I'm still her uyab." Sabi ni Colet then left us. I heard Mikha chuckle because of what Colet said. Kami na lang ni Mikha nandito sa loob ng garden.
"What's going on Mikha?" I have a thought kung ano nangyayari pero ayaw mag-assume. Hindi ko mapigilan yung sarili ko na makaramdam ng kaba and excitement.
"I know hindi pa tayo sobrang magkakilala. Hindi pa tayo ganun katagal nagspent ng time together. When I came here sa Pilipinas, I thought that my only family is Sheena. I thought that I will never find a home because of what happened to me but I was wrong. You may not be my family but you are my home Maloi..."
"It's so unexpected. I never thought na capable ako magmahal. You accepted me for who I am and I'm thankful for that. Hindi ko alam kung kailan kita nagustuhan pero narealize ko na lang bigla na ayaw kitang mawala sa buhay ko. I can't promise that you will never cry because of me, that I wouldn't hurt your feelings because we don't know what's gonna happen in the future. One thing I can promise you, no matter what happen, I'm always by your side..."
"I'll be there if you're happy. I'll be there wiping your tears if you cries. I'll be there hugging you, comforting you when you feel sad. I'll be your refuge when the storm of life hits you. I'll stay by your side when you feel the world is against you."
My heart feels like it's going to explode. I felt so overwhelmed with joy and excitement because of her. My heart filled with admiration and happiness that made me tear up.
"I love you Maloi, it may seems abrupt but I'm certain that I love you more than anything in this world. If you allow me, I want to court you and show you how much you mean to me." I can hear the sincerity in her voice.
She's now standing a few inches away from me. "Say something.." she whispered enough for me to hear.
"Yes. You can court me!" I answered then hug her. She buried her face on my shoulder and hug me tighter.
"Thank you! Thank you!" She softly whispers.
