Telling his family

Elijah walked in the door. He took a deep breath and called for a family meeting. He walked into the living room he stood up. Nervous about how his family is going to react. Especially about Henrick. "What is this about Elijah?" Freya asks. "It's about everything that happened while I was in New York with Gia. - and the crash that happened with Elena." Elijah nervously told his family. "Go on then. - tell us." Klaus spoke. Elena walked in. "I know. - I'm just here to support Elijah." Elena said. She knew that she could be making a mistake as she hadn't meet some of them. "Thank you." Elijah smiled at Elena. Grateful for her support.

" I don't know where to start." Elijah spoke. "Start from the beginning." Elena spoke softly. Elijah gave a nod. "When I first met Gia. - she was perfect. - she would always be there for me. - always tells me how much she was grateful for me being with her." Elijah paused. This was painful. He didn't want to tell them anything anymore. Elena got up off the seat went over to grabbed Elijah's hand and squeezed it. "Then the insults started. - telling me I was ugly. - telling me that I wasn't good enough for her. - the name calling was bad. - she told me that my family didn't love me. - or that they didn't want me. - telling me that mom told her that I was a mistake. - that she wished she didn't have me." Elijah paused. He looked around the room.  He saw Klaus.  He was angry.

Elijah then looked at Freya. She was smiling.

Elijah then looked at Elena. Who gave him a warm smile and a squeeze of his hand letting him know that it's ok. "It slowly started to turn into her controlling me. - telling me that it's the only way to keep the relationship alive. - she had my self esteem so low that I actually believed every word that came out of her mouth." Elijah spoke. "Kol what is it? - I know that you want to say something." Elijah said seeing the way he was looking at him

"I find it very hard to believe that she could do all that to you. - the next thing that you are going to say is that she got physically abusive to you." Kol said. "May I Elijah?" Elena asked. Elijah gave a nod. " just because Elijah is a man doesn't mean that it didn't happen to him. - she looked for someone who was easy enough to manipulate. - and it happens to 1 in 4 men which is 28.5% in men and it happens to women over 1 to 4 women which is 35.6% if you look it up you would know that men are too god damn afraid of not being believed. - you said what you said and the blonde beside Klaus hasn't stopped smiling. - it happened to men." Elena by the was shouting. It was Elijah's turn to squeeze her hand. Kol and Freya put their hands up in surrender. Both muttering sorry. Rebekah smirked cause Elena stood up for Elijah with more men in here than women Rebekah knowing she must have been scared.

" and yes Kol. - she did physically abuse me. - i never told anyone because I was ashamed. - but Henrick figured it out. - he had me convinced to leave her. - Elena wasn't the only one who was speeding that night. - I was too. - I was speeding so fast that everything was a blur. - so much so that I didn't see Elena break the red light. - I am one half of the reason why Henrick's death. - every day. - every night. - I wished it was me that died. - I finally got the courage to leave her. - when she went on a girls trip." Elijah finished. Finn was livid. Not at Elijah. And not at Elena. He was livid at Gia. He was also livid at Freya and Kol. For not believing Elijah. But he was delighted that this woman had the courage to speak up and defend Elijah. Yes Finn was told about what happened to Elena as was Freya. "I'll leave you guys to talk. - go easy on him. - he is beating himself up enough already." Elena spoke before she left.

The siblings sat down and talked.  "You two should be ashamed of yourselves. - Kol and Freya how would you feel if it was the other way around? - you wouldn't like it. - I am thankful and grateful for Elena for standing up for Elijah. - if mom and dad were around they would be so ashamed of you both." Finn finished and walked off. Elijah went up to his room. Klaus to Caroline and Rebekah went to Elena.
