Chief Tannabok stood on the balcony of his grand temple, looking down at the crowd gathering below. His wife, Lady Huitzilin, stood beside him, her arm gently resting on his. Their three children, Ahuatzi, had his hands on Acalan and Ohtli, who peeked over the railing, their eyes wide with curiosity and excitement. Chimalli, Chief Tannabok's loyal bodyguard, stood a few steps behind them, ever vigilant.

"Look at the crowd," Lady Huitzilin remarked softly, her voice filled with wonder. "They seem captivated."

Chief Tannabok nodded, his gaze fixed on the center of the crowd where Isabel and her animal companions stood. Tzekel-Kan was by her side, ensuring her safety and comfort with his protective and respectful demeanor.

"Father, who is she?" Ahuatzi's voice was filled with a hint of awe, his curiosity piqued. "Why is everyone so interested in her?"

"By the way, the animals are so fond of her. She must be a descendant of Tepēyōllōtl, the Aztec God of animals, darkened caves, echoes, and earthquakes," Chief Tannabok explained.

Acalan and Ohtli, barely able to contain their excitement, exchanged glances. "Father, can we go see her?" Acalan's eyes were filled with anticipation, his request almost a plea.

Chief Tannabok chuckled, his deep voice resonating. "In time, my son. Let us observe for now."

Down below, the citizens of El Dorado murmured in amazement, their eyes fixed on Isabel and her companions. Chihuahueño, the small and energetic dog, wagged his tail happily, soaking in the attention. Blanca, the graceful feline, sat regally by Isabel's feet, her green eyes scanning the crowd with curiosity and caution. Altivo, the majestic horse, stood tall and proud, his mane flowing in the gentle breeze.

Tzekel-Kan leaned closer to Isabel, speaking softly. "Are you comfortable? The people of El Dorado are merely curious and excited to see you."

Isabel nodded, her expression a blend of nervousness and determination. "I'm fine. It's just a bit overwhelming."

Chief Tannabok observed the scene with a thoughtful expression. "She carries herself with strength and grace," he told Lady Huitzilin. "Despite the overwhelming attention, she remains composed."

Lady Huitzilin smiled, curious to see Isabel up close.

Chimalli stepped forward. "Shall I prepare a formal welcome, Chief Tannabok? It might be wise to address the crowd and introduce her properly."

Chief Tannabok nodded. "Yes, Chimalli. That would be wise. We must show her the respect she deserves."

As Chimalli moved to carry out his orders, Chief Tannabok turned to his family. "Come, let us go down and welcome our guest properly. It is time for El Dorado to meet the descendant of Tepēyōllōtl."

Together, they descended the grand stairs, commanding attention as they approached Isabel and Tzekel-Kan. The crowd parted respectfully, their murmurs hushed in anticipation.

Chief Tannabok stepped forward, his imposing figure radiating authority and kindness. "Welcome to El Dorado," he said, his voice carrying over the gathered citizens. "We are honored by your presence, descendant of Tepēyōllōtl. I am Chief Tannabok, and this is my family."

Isabel looked up at Chief Tannabok, her eyes meeting his. She took a deep breath and nodded. "Thank you, Chief Tannabok. I am honored to be here."

The chief smiled warmly. "Come, let us show you the true beauty of our city. You are among friends here."

Chief Tannabok led Isabel through the bustling streets of El Dorado, his imposing figure ensuring a clear path through the curious crowd. Isabel walked beside him, her animal companions—Chihuahueño, Blanca, and Altivo—keeping close to her, their eyes darting around to protect her if necessary. Tzekel-Kan remained by Isabel's side, occasionally translating Chief Tannabok's words to help her understand better.
