Chapter 9

Raven pov

Jasper, Emelia and me are currently trying to rush Cole on as he has been getting ready for the past hour and we are supposed to be leaving soon.

I uncross my legs and stand up "Right thats it this fucker better get his flat ass out here." I storm over to Cole's door and bring up both of my hands banging on his dorm "Cole! Get your ass out here we are going to be late!" He just starts shouting at me but was I listening? Nope.

Just as i'm about to sit down he comes out of his room "Let's go we all have potions first yea?" He says as he glances down at his schedule.

"What the fuck were you even doing in there?" Emelia fixes her shirt as she stands up and I hold a hand out to help Jasper up.

"I was making sure everything was perfect for the day ahead." He says defensively as we all groan.

"If you ever take that long to get ready again we are leaving you here." I warn sternly letting him know how I am not messing around. I do not like being late and I will not let a stupid someone make me late for such a stupid reason.

"Isn't this the class we share with the second years?" Jasper says wearily his hands shaking while he holds his schedule.

"Dont worry jasp it will be fine a few of my brothers will probably be in that class." I shrug, opening the door signalling to let's go as I wave my arm.

The group took up four seats in the row near the back as we all chatter among ourselves waiting for the professor to arrive at class.

Me and Emelia are messing around with the textbook pointing at ugly pictures and saying 'thats you' just as i start bursting out laughing when cole starts arguing with Emelia because she pointed to a demented looking fish head and said that's you, the professor walks in and the clas quiets almost immediately.

"I know this is first class so I'll make it easy and assign lab partners early on in the year and no you cannot change partners unless there is an actual problem, alright?"

He clears his throat and grabs a slip of paper off his desk starting to read out names. "Aubrey and Clayton, Gabriel and Jasper, Emelia and Cole, Felix and Matteo, Raven and Ryder." After he says my name I don't bother to listen any longer and start to look around for this Ryder guy. But before I do that I see Jasper looking worried and he whispers to me "Whos Gabriel? Do you have any idea who that is?" I laugh at his worry and nod.

"Yea, that's one of my brothers. You're lucky you got the nice twin. The other twin felix is working with my twin so don't worry. Do you see the boy near the front with the blondish hair with a slight tint of purple in it?"

Jasper nods his head watching Gabe "is that Gabriel?"

"Yep that's him just go up and introduce yourself you have nothing to worry about gabes a social butterfly he's a good partner to work with actually ill go up with you i'll ask him if he knows a ryder." I assure Jasper lightly patting his back in encouragement as we stand up to head over to gabe.

"Hey gabe." I smile at my brother who returns it "what's up? And have you seen a jasper kid anywhere I've been partnered with him?"

I laugh slightly, "yea this is him." I tilt my head over to Jasper, showing him "by chance do you know a ryder?"

Gabe immediately widens his eyes "Um are you sure you want to work with him?"

I shrug "Why not? I don't know the guy can you show me where he sits?" Gabe turns around in his seat "see the guy in the back corner the black hair looks kinda crazy?"
