JADE — Looked at the suit before her. It fit the mannequin it clutched to perfectly and seemed to be no different than the one Jade was currently wearing. It had only took a couple days to work on as Lyla claimed and used an entirely fire resistant material.

It wasn't only convenient that they needed to use completely new material so that the girl could use her current suit while it was in the shop, but would continue to be convenient as she put the suit to use in the future.

A slight smile formed on her lips as she walked around the display, Lyla observing her excitement from beside Miguel. The girl was amazed at how well they had resembled her current one, seeing seemingly no difference from the what she wore. "This is incredible." She says softly, running a hand along it.

"I know." Lyla says, flickering and appearing before Jade. She bows and givers herself an applause. "Miguel said just to make it heat resistant, but I one upped that and made it fire resistant." She turned to her right, admiring her work. "Now if for whatever reason you have to deal with flames, you're covered."

Jade looked to Miguel, smiling lightly. She earned a shrug in return then watched as Miguel walked closer. "You going to try it on?" He asked.

Jade nodded, looking to Lyla who sent a nod in Miguel's direction. As if he took the cue, he reached to the logo of the chest and pressed it. The suit contracted into the logo, then the spider emblem dropped in his hand. He closed him fingers around it, smiling slightly. "That part was my idea."

He stuck his hand out and opened his palm, watching as Jade took it. She looked at the spider in her hand and closed her own fingers around it. She smiled lightly at Miguel, the curve in her lips broken slightly.

It pained her how much he cared about her when she knew she couldn't care about him.

Lyla flew around Jade's head and smiled. "Go!" She said, shooing her away with her hands. "Go try it on!"

Jade nods and quickly attached the spider to her chest. She pushes it, flinching as it activates and the new suit materializes around the one she was wearing. Her eyes widen at how fast it formed around her body. It snugged her tightly, but was comfortable and breathable. The mask was easy to move with her facial expressions and the gloves moved with her fingers.

"Wow..." She whispered, looking at her hands. Her eyes danced up her arm then she looked to Miguel, eyes then landing in Lyla.

"To take off your mask, just tap your temple." Miguel said, demonstrating on himself. Jade listens, tapping on the side of her head with two fingers. The mask suddenly retracts away, vanishing and allowing her face to show.

"Incredible." She says. She smiles again, knowing the mask was gone and they could both see it.

"I know." Lyla says, bowing. "My work is incredible." She cups her hand around her ear. "No need for praise."

Jade rolls her eyes as the hologram teases. "Thank you." She says sarcastically.

Then she turns to Miguel, looking up to meet his eyes. His arms are crossed as a small smile slowly forms on his lips. He gazes down at the girl, his arms crossed.

"And thank you." She says softly.

"Anything for you, Mi Amor." He says, nodding slightly.

It took him a moment to realize what slipped past his tongue, but as he realized what he said his eyes widen. He met Jade's gaze as she made the translation, watching as her eyebrows furrowed slightly. His cheeks grew pink and Jade's cheeks matched their tone as she took a single step back.
