Shots rained down from the sky above as both Autobot and Decepticon took cover.

Grace couldn't even tell what was happening, as she could only focus on the nausea she had started feeling once the police car started ducking and rolling to avoid the bullets from above.

'I guess I spoke too soon about it not getting any worse..'

Barricade was quick to dodge to cover under several trees near where he had been standing, as he glanced at both Optimus and Bumblebee moving to do the exact same.

::Barricade, we need cover up here! Bonecrusher is down and I can't get past the line of fire from these puny insects!:: Brawl suddenly yelled over his comm link.

Barricade growled to himself, ::I'm a bit tied up myself!:: Perhaps they had underestimated the power these humans possessed..

Grace soon heard the sound of a helicopter right overhead, which made her glance up above the tree line with her eyes squinting to try and focus on what was up there.

Were those humans?

More robots?

She honestly had no clue. For all she knew it could be another race of aliens and at this point she wouldn't be surprised.

Suddenly the helicopter was shooting at the tree line where the police car was currently taking shelter and she screamed as she heard bullet shrapnel bounce off the metal.

So this was how she was going to go out..

Taken down by bullets in the hand of an alien robot..

Barricade snarled as the shots rebounded off his back armor. He wasn't sure how many bullets his frame could handle from these puny humans before it would start to cripple him, but frag did it feel terrible.

He could see both of his enemies begin to fall back further into the tree line and he growled. He wouldn't be able to complete the mission like this.

::Commander Starscream, the humans have infiltrated our run-in with the autobots.::

"Autobots, fall back! We will not engage the humans!" Optimus ordered his comrades as he kept ducked low just under the tree line to make it harder for the humans to get a clear shot at him, Bumblebee quickly following suit though the scout did glance back once at Barricade who still had the girl in his clutches.

Ironhide had already transformed and started driving in reverse as quick as his engine could carry him to avoid fire, "Blast these humans.." He mumbled to himself. Ratchet and Jazz had managed to make appearances just as the humans started firing on them, and they followed Ironhide's suit.

"The girl!" A female voice came over Bumblebee's radio as he crept alongside Optimus under the trees.

"We will rescue the girl, but now is not the time, Bumblebee." Optimus replied in a level tone.
