Winter was in full swing. Cold gusts of wind were constantly rustling through Paris as people buried themselves into their expensive fur coats and under-stuffed puffer jackets alike. But today, the weather had calmed down for the first time in few days.

Seungmin smiled at the way Jeongin was packing their picnic. He was meticulous with his arrangement, making sure that everything would be able to fit perfectly into their basket, without any spillage or breakage.

Some would call them idiotic to have a picnic in the middle of the Parisian winter, but the couple couldn't care less. They had coats and themselves to brave the cold. Besides, it hadn't snowed all winter.

Last week's coffee date was an eye opener for Seungmin, he hadn't felt that happy in such a long time, it was beginning to worry him.

But he was starting to get a little sexually frustrated.

Seungmin completely respects Jeongin's choice to take it slow, but he is starting to need him in a way that would concern even Minho, the biggest hoe in their friend group. To shock Minho was a feat that only Hyunjin and Felix had ever accomplished.

He was snapped back to reality when Jeongin tapped him softly on the shoulder.

"You ready baby?" The younger asked with his piercing, fox-like eyes. Seungmin nodded with a smile, his puppy eyes shining as they walked hand in hand out of their flat.

Getting to the park was an easy feat: they only had to walk a few blocks downtown to reach it and they found it was empty, save for a few old couples huddled together on the benches.

It was a peaceful area where nature was left to its own devices in this architectural jungle of a city. It was also their favourite place to go for nature painting studies in the spring, as the ducklings would hatch and follow their parents out on the water, providing very cute lakeside paintings.

Swans could also be spotted gliding across the crystalline lake, occasionally disappearing into the trees lining the body of water. Their white as snow wings mesmerised Seungmin, who felt the overwhelming urge to paint them.

He looked back at Jeongin, who was preparing their picnicking spot. The younger was laying down a thick blanket to protect their clothes from the cold grass. He set out all of the food, pouring them both a glass of dark red wine and giving them the necessary cutlery.

Seungmin happily dug into his chicken drumsticks, seasoned to perfection by Jeongin who had stolen Chan's fried chicken recipe. His boyfriend was a much better cook than him, anything Seungmin made often devolved into chaos. He once set pasta on fire. Since that incident, Jeongin and Hyunjin had been cooking for him, out of fear for their flat and Seungmin's safety.

Rich orange yolk filled his mouth as he bit into a soft boiled egg, his eyes rolling back at the delicious taste. He let out a little moan of satisfaction, looking at Jeongin with bright eyes.

"Babe, you're the best cook in the world." He said in between mouthfuls of egg. The younger smiled as he gazed at him, his eyes tracing the outline of his boyfriend's lips.

"I'm glad you like my cooking." Jeongin murmured as he leaned in to peck Seungmin on the lips. The latter smiled at the gesture, looking away with a blush once his boyfriend had kissed him. He still got shy when he displayed affection.

As his gaze was diverted, he noticed that the once perfectly clear sky has begun to cloud over. He frowned slightly, finally noticing the chill in the breeze. They were now all alone in the park, no more older couples remained.
