Antonia was woken up the next morning by Dallas climbing into bed with her, wrapping his arm around her waist and snuggling his face into her neck. "How are you feeling?" He mumbled.
"Like crap. I barely got any sleep last night." She grumbled. It wasn't a lie. After Jynx, Raven, Maverick and Eric got to the pub the night before, they ended up staying until the house lights came on. Eric had been filled in on what was going on and confessed to knowing about the stripping, but thought Antonia was aware of it because Dallas said she was okay with it.
"I didn't think anything else about it because Danny's wife knows and thinks it's funny. I just assumed you felt the same." He reached for Raven's hand. "I swear I had no idea about the "full package" thing. If I had, I would have told you."
Raven had shrugged Eric knowing about the stripping but not saying anything off easily. "I never told you about what we expected because I was keeping Antonia's secret. I can't get mad at you for keeping your friend's secret."
The rest of the night was spent catching each other up on everything so they were all on the same page. Jynx told everyone about Maverick's very smooth citizen's arrest, Antonia filled them in on what the plan was for Nola, and when Eric heard that they planned to hire Dallas and the others for Antonia's bachelorette party, they were just trying to find a place outside Salem. He stepped outside for a while, and when he came back, he was grinning widely.
"It's taken care of."
"What?" Antonia was a little tipsy at this point and wasn't sure she heard right.
"I got you a place." He sat back down next to Raven. "In Rockport. It's yours until Thursday."
Raven's eyes widened, and she grabbed his arm. "Did you seriously ask your stepdad for his summer house?"
"Well..." He held up his hand and flopped it back and forth. "Sort of? I asked my stepsister and explained why, and she convinced Barry. The catch is she wants to be there, and she's a bit of a brat."
Antonia had crawled across Maverick and hugged Eric tightly. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"Oh, my poor baby." Dallas's arm tightened, and he rubbed his hand over her stomach. "Want me to make you some tea before I go to sleep?"
"No," she muttered. She probably shouldn't have had that sixth Moscow Mule. Her skin felt too tight, and she had a headache. I want a shower, pills, and a breakfast sandwich."
"Okay, babe." He kissed her neck and gave her a squeeze. "Are you sticking around today, or..."
"No, I'll go to Raven and Jynx's, don't worry." He was an incredibly light sleeper when he was on nights, and she would generally schedule herself to work on his night shifts. She started to get up, and he held her in place.
"We need to talk about something first." He shifted so he was sitting up and ran his hand through his hair. "I need to tell you something."
Antonia swallowed. "Now?"
"Yeah, I should have told you this back when I realized I was getting serious about you, but honestly, I was embarrassed and not sure how to bring it up." He sighed and looked at her sadly. "But I have to tell you before we get married and with enough time for you to process everything and... and decide what to do."
"Oookaay." She sat up and folded her arms loosely over her stomach. She didn't think he was about to tell her about the stripping and her mind sluggishly tried to figure out where this was going.
