Hinata rose from her seat and addressed Ino with a weary tone, "I’m alright now. Thank you."
Ino, with concern, insisted, "Please, you need to take some time to recover. Training can be postponed."
Hinata sighed, "I feel as though I have so little time to truly rest. It seems like I’ve spent endless hours lying here, while the village is embroiled in so many urgent matters that demand attention."
Ino sighed, her concern evident. "Hinata, you’re a vital part of this village, but your health comes first. If you push yourself too hard, you'll only end up sidelined longer."
Hinata shook her head, determined. "I appreciate that, but I have responsibilities. If I can’t contribute now, when will I get the chance?"
Ino placed a hand on Hinata's shoulder, softening. "I understand your dedication, but even the strongest ninja need to recharge. Take a moment, then we can get back to it. The village needs you at your best, not just present."
Hinata offered Ino a soft, grateful smile. "Thank you for your concern, but truly, I’m alright," she said with a quiet, reassuring tone.
Ino let out a deep sigh, her expression a blend of resignation and worry. She could sense the unspoken burden Hinata carried, the way her eyes revealed a depth of internal conflict and strain.
Despite her desire to insist that Hinata take a break and care for herself, Ino knew that arguing further would be futile. She felt a profound weight in her chest, understanding that no amount of words could ease the relentless pressure Hinata felt to stay engaged and active amidst the turmoil surrounding them.
Meanwhile, Sasuke, grappling with the pain from his numerous injuries, slowly made his way to the hospital. Each step was a battle against the throbbing ache and stiffness that plagued his body. Despite the exhaustion and the sheer effort required to move, his determination never wavered. His sole purpose was to see Hinata. The sight of her in distress had weighed heavily on his mind, driving him to push through his own suffering. As he neared the hospital, the pain seemed to fade into the background, overshadowed by his urgent need to offer support and reassurance to someone he deeply cared about.
As Sasuke approached the training ground, he saw Hinata, still bound in bandages and moving with evident discomfort as she pushed through her training. His frustration boiled over at the sight of her stubbornness.
“Hinata…” Sasuke’s voice cut through the air, thick with a mix of concern and anger.
Hinata looked up, her face etched with surprise and concern. “Sasuke, are you okay—”
But Sasuke's impatience interrupted her. “You fool!” he exclaimed, his voice sharp with frustration. “Why are you training when you’ve just gotten back from recuperating?” His own injuries, exacerbated by his heightened emotions, flared painfully, causing him to wince.
Ino, who had been nearby, rushed forward, her face a mask of worry. “Sasuke, let me help you—”
But Sasuke, barely able to contain his own pain, brushed her aside. “You should be resting,” he said with a mixture of authority and exasperation.
Hinata’s gaze dropped, her shoulders slumping under the weight of both her physical and emotional exhaustion. She felt a deep pang of guilt for her perceived shortcomings.
Sasuke’s tone softened as he struggled to maintain his composure, despite the agony coursing through his body. “You don’t have to prove anything to anyone,” he said, his voice faltering as he staggered. The strain of his own injuries became too much, and he collapsed to the ground, his body unable to withstand the combined force of his own suffering and his emotional turmoil.
