Hazel was walking down a trail in a forest, pushing aside branches and occasionally chopping them away with her sword.

You see, a little after reuniting with Anne, she met Marcy and got filled in on everything.

While Marcy and Anne went through the other temples, she went off to find the fourth one. She insisted on taking this one, since Asesino said it would help her figure out her gem more.

Speaking of Asesino, the entity themselves appears beside Hazel after a bit, in human form. "Human– It has been 4 hours, how have you not gotten tired?"

Hazel blinks, glancing over at Asesino, who's floating a couple feet off the ground thanks to the wings – that somehow work – that are positioned on his back. "I have a high stamina."

"Yes, I'm aware...But even past purple gem holders couldn't use the gem abilities for 4 hours straight–"

You're probably confused by that, aren't you? Well, in order to find the temple for the purple gem, since it didn't make a line leading to it– Hazel has to use a bit of the gem power to lead her to it.

Which would typically take a great toll on the holders mental state.

But, so far, Hazel's had barely any reaction to using it. And yet, Asesino is still worried, because the more Hazel uses it, the more it drains.

And Gold's said that's not a good thing.

Anyways–

"I'll be fine Asesino, don't worry about me." The ashy brunette waves off the entities concerns, who huffs at her words, crossing his arms. "If you pass out, that's your own fault."

"I know."

"And neither I, nor Gold, will be happy."

"I know."

"I will–"

"I'll be fine, seriously. I've been fine so far, haven't I?" Hazel cuts Asesino off, moving to narrow her eyes a bit at the entity, who is just sighs. "Fine, fine. Just...be careful." And with that, Asesino fades out of sight, as Hazel sighs.

She continues her trek through the forest for now, chopping away branches and whatnot whilst walking.

It takes three more hours, before Hazel finds herself standing on a mountain, overlooking a wide ocean, the temple just barely visible beneath the waters surface. "Seriously? Water? This'll be fun."

The ashy brunette slides down the snowy part of the mountain, using her sword to slow herself down when it gets to a rocky part.

She carefully maneuvers down the rocks, sometimes using her sword to balance as she continues down.

Once she reaches the beach right at the water, she pauses. How is she supposed to do this? Swim?

She's not a super good swimmer.

She plays tennis for fucks sake, how is she supposed to be a good swimmer? That's Min.

Min's fucking amazing at swimming.

With a sigh, the ashy brunette crouches down to feel the water, which is thankfully not freezing cold or anything. She exhales through her nose, before standing up and walking backwards a few steps. She pulls her hoodie off, discarding it on the sand.
