elodies point of view

i spent the weekend with jamie and trevor which let's be honest, i spend every weekend and weekday with them but they wanted to make the weekend "special" for me before i start working as an intern. they took me around honda and their practice facility, quite the tour guides those two are.

but as soon as monday came around the nerves struck. i found myself pacing that sunday night, realizing i hadn't even eaten the whole day. purely out of stress, but its not like i mind.

i pull my headphones around my ears as i wander around my room opting to stress clean my room to try to be productive under the stress. i had gotten pretty deep into a impromptu  clean before knocking on my bedroom door, making my heart drop to stomach. removing one headphone from my ear

"come in!" i yell from the other side of my door

"hey ellie bear whatcha doin?" jamie says as he flops onto my bed

"i was in the middle of a good cleaning sesh before you scared me half to death" i say removing my headphone completely walking toward the edge of my bed

"im sorry smokeshow just wanted to check on my girl" he says gently pulling my waist toward him, leading me to fall on top of him "speaking of, have you eaten at all today?"

"yeah i did this morning" my eyes drifting away from his

"oh yeah what did you have?"
i know he knows im lying

"i uh had toast"

"you liar we ran out of bread silly. come on get up let's go eat" he lifts me by the hips standing me on my feet

"im really not that hungry jamie"

"i know you 'aren't hungry' elodie but we're working on this remember. and i promised to be there every step of the way okay?"

before i knew it i was sat in a barstool with jamie cheffing up in front of me. placing a bowl of mixed fruits in front of me. i stare at the bowl for a second before jamie plops into the chair next to mine. placing a comforting hand on my thigh.

"we're gonna start slow okay? i'll go first" he grabs a cut up strawberry on his fork and places it into he's mouth. grabbing another piece and aiming it toward me, taking the strawberry from the fork into my mouth i feel jamie give my thigh an encouraging squeeze before i knew it the fruit had been swallowed.

"see it isn't so bad" he turns toward me with a smile "if you help me finish the whole bowl we can go watch whatever you want for the rest of the night sound good?"

i gave him a nod and a small mhm before we got to chatting and finished the whole bowl. he kept me so distracted from the fact that i was eating i didn't even notice when the bowl got empty. i look at him with a smile

"im so proud of you ellie" he saying bringing me into his embrace "now what are we gonna watch?"

"10 things i hate about you?" i offer as he gives me a nod before heading to the couch and snuggling into one another

"hey jamie?" i look up at him

"yeah?"

"thank you"

"anything for you ellie bear" he leans down kissing my head before we continue back to the movie

hello wow i am sorry i am so bad at updating. your girl has been going through it guys i didn't think summer depression was real but wow i think i am summer depression anyways i PROMISE i am working on chapters and trying to get them out to you because i just love you all. thank you to those who are still reading and keeping up. wishing you all a wonderful morning afternoon or night 🥳
