walking into leo's dorm, awkward silence filled the room as we were the only ones in there. not sure where his roommate noah is. it's probably for the best that he isn't here for our conversation.

"whats up?" i ask finally breaking the silence as i sit in his desk chair

"i just wanted to apologize for being a dick earlier, you were right. there wasn't anything to upset about and i should've never given you an attitude." he says breathing out "and what you said about is not being together really made me realize what i want. i do want to be with you"

"thank you leo, i just don't want you to be upset any time i see my brother or am with other guys if you want us to continue"
i speak honestly

"so we're good right?"

"yes leo" i say

we hung for the night before i drove back to my building. waiting for tate to get back so i can catch her up.

"hey tatey how was practice?"
i ask smiling as she enters our dorm

"it was good just boring drills" she sighs out setting her stuff down
"hey i saw your location at the boys dorms what were you doing over there?" she asks honestly, we've always shared our locations with each other just to be safe and know where we're at

"oh me and leo were just hanging out." i answer her question honestly. i know if i told her any of the events of today tell me to stop hanging out with him but it was one time. he promised it wouldn't happen again

she gives a questioning look "how was that?"

"it was good, i really like him tate"

"yeah? just be careful ellie. i don't want to see some nobody hurt my best friend" i know she's worried about me and leo cause of what she "heard" from her team. but he's popular and girls get jealous i'm really sure he isn't who people say he is

"tate he literally plays for the school he isn't just a nobody" i scoff

"just cause he plays football doesn't make him anything" she rolls her eyes playfully.

"whatever" i smile pushing her slightly. we both know it's just innocent bickering, me and tate have never gotten in a real, serious argument we just care for each other too much. sure we back and fourth like this all the time but it's never serious
