I, Yamauchi Haruki am the chosen one.

Originally, I wanted superiority over Ayanokōji Kiyotaka. However, I realise now how foolish a dream that was.

I will stand above everyone.

I will beckon and rule the world. As the chosen one, what other result could be determined for me?

My immediate task differs slightly but it's fine. Slow and steady wins the race.

I need to exit this labyrinthine of stone and shadows. The guards from earlier have all disappeared. I can't even remember what happened too clearly. My most recent memory is the despair and regret I felt whilst shackled to that seat.

And no matter how much I try to block it, my mind feels tainted. Instead of thinking, I start walking.

A bold scent of mildew and decay rush to my nose. I continue forward. Everywhere I look, rough-hewn walls loom over on each side of the narrow walkway. Despite being stained and run-down, the walls remain sturdy and impossible to breakdown.

Mounted along these screens are dim torches that flicker every now and then. These protrusions illustrate demonic shadows that accompany me as I journey through the repetitive scenery.

It's practically silent. I'm shocked that my heart isn't beating up a tune right now. Each step I take, echo's and reverberates down the distant passageways. This location must be cursed; it's endless!

Walking, walking, walking, walking, walking.

That's all I'm doing. I'm walking aimlessly. I know I need to escape but no matter what I do, the passageway stays the same.

Every so often, I spot writing on the walls. The red paint is always fresh and dripping down. The majority of symbols are foreign to me and completely made up. The only slightly coherent phrase I could extract from the markings was:

• W • I • L • L • O • W •

• T • R • E • E •

Willow tree..? These scribbles mean nothing. A classification of tree species does not help me in any meaningful sense. Did the red men leave this here? Is it somehow connected to their plot? There are more scratches along the walls but the symbols are gibberish.

Maybe... On this island there is a special willow tree located somewhere and maybe it somehow connects everything together!

Let's be real - that is too stupid to be true... But I will keep an eye open for any willow trees - just in case!

As I pondered, A bizarre light shone from behind. Reactively, I swivelled and stared. My jaw almost reached the floor. Somehow an exit has spawned in the darkness...

It doesn't make sense. Not by a long shot. Though, I'm an honest man; I will not hesitate once presented the opportunity.

Stuffing my hands into my pockets, I broke into a jog as I ran over the uneven stone floor. The sense of foreboding was palpable but it won't stop me!

I, Yamauchi Haruki am the chosen one.

Emerging from the mouth of the cobblestone dragon, I swiftly trudged into the semi-familiar forest and away from the dungeon I was held captive.

I need allies.

Disposable individuals I can drop whenever.

God knows what happened to the two from earlier. Those side characters aren't even worth taking advantage of. I need someone with brawn and maybe someone with social abilities.
