Doing all your chores gives them nothing to complain about! If it's already done, what could they say about it? Besides whether it was done properly or not. Oops. P.s. do a good job too! Prepare for questions like: "Did you do your homework?" Or "Is your room cleaned?"

Set up a good time on when you'll get back and make sure they know where it's located! Make sure they are in a suitable mood.
