The massive clock of Hera struck ten, its thunderous chimes echoing through Hera's quiet where the scheduled medical test was to begin in an hour.

"Sorry sir! The inner chamber of the library is under construction. No one is permitted to go there."

The head of the library graciously returned Devin Morris's platinum card, which he used to gain access to the inner chamber, which was exclusively available only to platinum card holders.

"Well, how come I didn't know if there is an ongoing construction inside Hera." He voiced his perplexity with heavy words.

"Sorry, Sir! You can talk to President Wilson!"

This comment appeared to be quite natural, but it was not on Devin's part because he knew that even workers were not supposed to tread on the inner chamber. Furthermore, the library staff has been reporting on construction for the past few days. "Did Dad know about any of this? I do not believe so; if he knew, I would have known." As he approached the elevator, his mind raced with these thoughts.

Moving down from the eighth story, he could see numerous students in the sitting area next to the Hera fountain via the elevator's transparent glass. Before 10 a.m, students began to congregate. The elevator halted at the second floor, and he found himself in a vast empty corridor.

A few steps ahead, his gaze rested on the lady leaning against the railing, holding an unlit cigarette between her fingers. The wrinkles on her brow and the constant trembling of her calf indicated her anxiousness. Helding the cigarette with her lips, her hands felt around the pockets of her skirt.

"Here!" Devin leaned over the railing beside her handing his golden lighter carved with a dragon mouth to her.

She was taken aback by the abrupt presence of someone in the midst of her immersed state of mind. Her eyes were fiercely focused on him, and she gently grabbed the lighter from him. "Thanks," she sighed and said.

When she flipped the lighter to smoke her cigarette, Devin's cold voice and sneer drew her attention to him. "I warned you that this isn't a place to make friends, and so you went on making enmity with people. Quite impressive!"

"I think you took me as a shy loser girl. I hope your illusion is now broken." Her lips twisted in a sneer, a gleam in her siren eyes, as she slid the lighter back towards him.

His emerald eyes flickered towards the lighter and then back to her smirk. "You may keep it. I do not take anything back once they have been used." He steps slowly headed towards her and his tone became low and heavy. "This will be your last warning. Stay away from Danielle, or you and I will have an issue which you will not really enjoy."
