Chapter Nine: The execution

Bob looks down, fearing what would happen if he answered honestly he just sat there. "WHERE'S MY FUCKING WATER BOB" Vulder shouted as loud as he could. Bob said absolutely nothing, sitting there he began to think about his daughter and what they did to her, what this man shouting at him ordered. Bob looks up and stares Vulder directly in the eyes, he says in a stern tone "Was my daughter worth killing over that water Vulder"?

He continues "Was her life worth taking over something I clearly had no more of"? He then grabs a nearby stone and smashes Vulder in the teeth knocking out three before the group of men tackle him to the ground. Vulder stands up spitting blood out of his mouth and looking at his now shattered teeth on the floor. He walks over to Bob and picks up the stone before saying "Open your mouth" Bob looks at him and says "Fuck you and your mother you stupid cunt motherfucker" and spits in Vulders face.

Angrier then he had ever been Vulder ordered his men to pry open Bob's mouth.

When they did so Bob gritted his teeth. Vulder told him "ungrit them or so help me God I will smash them one by one" Bob stopped fighting and looked over at Jay "Tell Jason and Lexus... I'm sorry I brought the devil into their life". He looks up at Vulder and opens his mouth. Vulder places the rock between Bobs jaw firmly between his teeth and says "Bite it". Bob does so before Vulder takes the axe and looks at Jay.

"Come here boy" Vulder says to Jay in a soothing gritty voice. Jay stands up and walks over to where the other men are. Vulder looks Jay in his face deep as if he can see right through him and says "Take this axe". Jay, not wanting to end up where Bob is does as he's told. "Now what's your name"? Vulder ask with a grin. "Jay... my name is Jay.." Jay says clearly shaken by the whole ordeal. Vulder responds "Okay Jay you're clearly scared but you don't have to be, Alls you gotta do is take the blunt end of that axe and smash in Bob's teeth". Jay looks at Bob and then at Vulder.

"You gotta be fuckin kidding" Jay says in a tone that clearly pisses off Vulder. "Do it or I'll kill the cocksucker and the other two" Vulder says with gritted teeth. Jay looks back at Bob and Bob nods as if to approve his own execution. Hesitation going to the wayside Jay lifts the axe as high as he can above Bob's head. As he does so Jason wakes up and sees the ordeal.

"NO!! NOOO! DON'T JAY! DON'T FUCKIN DO IT MAN"!! Jason screams as the men drag him away and throw him in the car with Lexus. Jay holds the axe as the muffled screams of Lexus and Jason can still be heard from the car. Bob, with the stone still in his mouth closes his eyes and prepares for what's to come. In a single forceful downward swing Jay cracks open Bob's head revealing skull fragments and brain chunks. Bob's teeth shatter and the stone falls as does he, twitching and spasming as blood spewed from his cranium and his brain chunks fell to the ground.

Jay looks at Vulder who says "I knew you had it in ya" before taking the axe and smashing in Bob's skull once more killing him the rest of the way. "Ya did damn good kid" Vulder says. "Now get ya friends and get the fuck outta here".

Leaving behind the broken three Vulder cackles but one of his group lingers for a second. Looking at them with empathy the young girl says "I'm sorry this happened to you guys" before walking back to the rest of her group. Jay looks at Bob's corpse with remorse striking every inch of his already cold dead heart. Jason and Lex exit the abandoned vehicle. Jay starts to apologize but Jason stops him "I know it's not your fault but... I don't want to fucking hear it... Just help me bury my friend" he says in a cold depressed ridden tone.

Picking Bob up by the hands Jay looks at Lexus but says nothing. He can't possibly think of a single word to say. All he can do is think about the fact that these two knew this man for years. Had a life before this that heavily involved this man. They had a love for him, a bond... And Jay just destroyed that. Any trace of him in the form of their past is now... over... Like he never even existed to begin with.

Isn't that what happens to us all?
