LeoEither this alarm will go out on its own or I will reach out and throw my phone across my bedroom in the next spare of 30 seconds. I am in no mood in dealing with its tantrum now since it's around 8 in the damn morning and I am comely hangover from yesterday's party. If only I knew that the party would be as shitty as to have it end with me drinking two bottles of whisky— on my own— then I wouldn't have even went there in the first place. It was only a waste of my precious— haha sarcasm— time.
I reach my hand out over towards the night stand that I so have happen to have bought on a discount at Walmart around half a year ago— which didn't seem to be a good idea as it was slowly falling apart on its own.
"No wonder it was on a discount." I huffed out as I finally managed to get a grip on my phone and smashed my index finger down then red 'STOP' button on the lower part of my phone. Curse Nathan out for buying me an iPhone 13 for my 21th birthday last year, I still can't come down on figuring out how to properly use it comparing with my last perfect Samsung Galaxy s5. He mumbled something about that it was too old or something. It wasn't for me. It was the first phone I bought myself at 18 and it did the job.
"Oh well look at that, someone @-ed me on instagram— seriously?" My happy gaze fell right after realizing that it was just some random scam and that I won some kind of an iPhone or something. "I already have one of those shits without a button." I mocked, almost myself at this point as I clicked on my profile on instagram. Still nothing new. Only few followers— most of them some random girls for attention and only few friends from college. Though 'friends' was a strong word to use. More like... "Acquaintances..." I mumbled as my finger fell upon one profile throughout the scrolls; Nathan. And my lips curled up into a soft smile almost in an instant. That man helped me out a lot and I was thankful for it and for the fact that he still stood by my side even till now. He was the best.
"Well best out of bests, time to get my ass up and get ready for a fantastic day at college.".•°•.•°•.•☆
Walking out of the bathroom that was located right at the entrance hallway of the apartment that I lived in and shared right with my precious bestfriend who was no other then Nathan himself, I stumbled across a there hanging egg shaped mirror. My surprised face reflecting upon it in milliseconds after making eye contact with it since I didn't remember that we had one hanging there in the first place. But damn... what a hottie that is there. Didn't know I was so handsome— I accepted the new decor in our apartment in an instant because why shouldn't I when it was reflecting such handsomeness right back at me?
I stepped closer, reaching my hands up and fixing up my hair a little with the few strands that had changed its positions after ruffling them up earlier in the bathroom. And I could swear that my hair somehow got even blonder than it usually is, probably due to the fact that I was spending a lot of my time out in the sun and so it bleached itself. It almost made me look like a damn albino with a light tanned skin. Okay no, I was pretty white, but not as white as Nathan. He's a walking cheese stick. Though my gaze quickly fell down on my freckled nose— damn, was this mirror a goddess? Probably the light. But hey, the freckles were visible now at least. Together with the fewer scars upon the bridge of my nose and right brow— memories from past fights— and all the features that I had, I realized that I was quite a cookie for bite.I let out a sigh and turned around on my heel, almost slipping on the freshly mopped floor because of the socks I had on. Jesus, I was out for a day and this apartment changed as if I was gone for a whole week. What's up with Nathan?
"He seriously does not know how to save up money, does he? Such a shopaholic." A little 'tsk' sound left my mouth as I rolled my tongue at it, opening the fridge to check up on what I could do for breakfast— and potentially my lunch at college since I was running short on money and I didn't want to spend it on the shitty cafeteria food. Bingo! The fridge was full. "Ah~ Thank you, god Nathan. I absolutely love you." I happily hummed as I reached out towards the inside of the fridge to take some stuff out that could potentially make a good breakfast and lunch.
