ELANI WALKED DOWN the short and quiet path that lead to a familiar library. Her hands unconsciously moved against themselves whilst her teeth abused of her bottom lip.

Her mind held confusion, and her eyes were elsewhere even though she stared ahead. So much that she nearly walked past the entrance of the location she was planning to go to.

Abruptly stopping, she realized her small mistake and let out a forced chuckle — however, her body slumped and quickly reminded her of the state she was in at the moment.

The woman opened the door to the library and walked in, hoping to somehow set her mind off a certain blonde and the fact that he wouldn't dare to leave her alone the day prior. It wasn't like she liked him or anything; indeed, the fact that they had met only two days prior and his actions were already taunting her enraged her in the slightest.

Everything confused Elani. Was she going insane, or was he actually flirting with her? Perhaps 'angel' is a simple nickname that he likes to give people. Perhaps the fact he admitted to wanting to visit her cafe everyday was just because he wanted to become her friend. She convinced herself that he simply had a kind personality, and he had no interest in her whatsoever. Because again, how could one like someone they met such a short time ago?

Therefore, she ignored his lingering stare whilst she prepared the drink that she assumed was going to become his signature order. She ignored how he looked at her with a seeming admiration everytime he had the chance.

Elani didn't know if she felt uncomfortable with that, or if she found it amusing.

The fact Hyunjin and the others seemed not to dwell on his texts towards the woman too much confused her even more. Was it because she was right about her assumptions, or did they know something she didn't?

The Hwang girl grabbed a book that she hadn't finished the last time she visited the library and moved to sit in her usual spot — a table at the very corner of the structure, unseen and unused; if not from her, that is.
