Chapter 11

Ayaan's POV

I came out of the closet and saw my wife still sleeping. I shook my head and went towards her and sat on the bed. I called her name a few times but she snuggled more into the blanket. I went closer and patted on her arm to wake her up.

Anaya wake up , you are getting late for the office, I said in her ear and she held my arm and snuggled into it.

I smiled at her action and ran my hands through her hair while trying to wake her up, Anaya baby wake up.

She opened her eyes slowly and looked at me smiling. Damn that smile just made my whole day.

Good Morning baby, it's time to get ready for office, I said while my hand continued its work in her hair.

Good morning Ayaan ji, she said while blushing at our proximity. I decided to tease her more so instead of getting up and giving her space I hovered more above her.

Don't you want to go to office today huh, baby? I said in a husky voice while roaming my hand through her hair.

Hu....huh, she stuttered while looking at me wide eyed.

See I am ready but you are still on the bed, I said moving my face closer to her.
As I moved closer she pushed me and got out of the bed.

I..I am getting late so I should get ready for the office, she said running towards the washroom. I couldn't help but laugh at her antics and shook my head as I saw my reflection in the mirror. I never thought that one day I will be laughing and teasing my wife. This marriage was supposed to be of convenience but she made me turn it into real in just two weeks of our marriage.

I went to the study to pick some files. As I reached there my phone rang, I picked up the phone.

Yes, I know I have a meeting in one hour, I am leaving in 30 minutes.  You arrange everything till I reach the office, I said before Rahul could say anything. He always call to remind me of my meetings in the morning so I knew what he was about to say.

I'll arrange everything for the meeting sir, I also wanted to update you about the A.R situation. We checked the cctv footage but the cameras were disabled during the attack, we are trying to find any suspicious vehicles coming towards Ms.Singhania's house in the cameras on different roads leading towards her house. I'll update you as soon as we find something, he told me and I cut the call telling  him to keep me updated.

I have many enemies but no one ever tried to harm people related to me. They mainly try to sabotage my business or attack me, who is this person who thought that he could try to harm my people and get away with it.

I picked up the files and left the study. As I entered my room , my eyes automatically searched for my wife who was standing in front of mirror getting ready for the office. She was wearing a simple suit and looking the most beautiful woman on this earth.

She combed her hair and picked the vermillion box when I went towards her and held her hand. She got startled at my action and looked at me in question. I took the box from her hand and opened it , I pinched the vermillion in my fingers and put it in middle partition in her hair while looking into her eyes. She closed her eyes in shyness and I kissed her forehead which made her open her eyes and look at me.

I know that she is little confused at my actions and this is all new to her. It is also new to me as I never even imagined to behave like this with someone but she made me do these things and I am happy that she isn't feeling uncomfortable by my actions. So confused is better than being uncomfortable.

Are you ready or you need some time?, I asked.

Yes, I just need my footwear and then I am ready, she said and went to the closet.
