Author's POV
Wedding Day
Malhotra House
Meera was in Meher's room helping her daughter get ready for the wedding. She was making her wear the jewellery sent by her soon to be mother-in-law.
There were tears in her eyes as she looked at her daughter in the mirror who was looking quietly at all the things placed before her.She pinned the veil on her head and said in a cracking voice, You are looking so beautiful just like a bride.
I am the bride Mom, She said while looking at her mother.
I know, I just never thought this day would come so soon, Meera said with tears flowing from her eyes.
It was going to happen one day , She said while wiping her mother's eyes.
But it wasn't suppose to happen like this, Anaya, She cried while hugging Anaya.
You were suppose to find love for yourself or if not then atleast you deserved to have a chance to marry someone you chose by will, not forced to replace your sister at her wedding.Anaya's Wedding Outfit
(Anaya and Meher have different body types and Meher's outfit will not fit Anaya so she is keeping same outfit she wore for her sister's wedding but wearing the jewellery and veil given by Ayaan's family to Meher for wedding)
Anaya's Wedding JewelleryHow could Meher do this? This wedding was happening with her choice, it's not like we forced her, how could she run away from the wedding without caring about anyone. If she was unhappy she could have told us we would have canceled the wedding. Dev would have fought with anyone for her, she said angrily while pacing from one place to another.
Now you have to face the consequences of her actions, she was saying when she was interrupted by a knock.
They are calling Anaya down for the wedding , said Tanya while entering the room and looking sadly at her bestfriend.
