bows and arrows and knives

I sat down under the Builders' shack carving my weapons for hours. Gally taught me how to sharpen the knifes and arrows even more than before. I asked Gally why he never sharpened them more before. But he said it was because he had to make so many in little time.

When i finished 50 arrows, a knife, and 12 throwing knifes, i wrapped the knifes in leather for a better grip.

I picked up my knives and arrows and ran over to Gally.

"Gally look! I finished" I said proudly.

"Wow Cal. These look great. Let's test them out"

We ran over to a spot about 100 feet away from a tree.

"Ok i am first going to shoot my old arrow then my new arrow to see the difference" I said.

Gally nodded at me.

I picked up and old arrow and aimed it at the tree, then released it.

"Ok. Now the new arrow" I said.

I picked up the new arrow and aimed it at the tree. Then i released.

One word.

Amazing.

"Wow" Gally said.

"That was.. AMAZING," I yelled with excitement," Gally did you see that it was so much faster and OH. Let's go see if the hole the arrow made is deeper"

I dragged Gally to the tree.

"YAY" I screamed jumping up and down,"IT IS A DEEPER CUT"

"This is great Cali, i am so happy for you. Good job" Gally says.

"Thanks Gal. Couldn't have done it without you"I said hugging him,"Now let's test out the knives"

Gally found three apples and lined them up on a table.

"Alright go ahead and throw" Gally said pointing to the apples.

"Uh Gal" I said nervously.

"Yeah?"

"I don't know how to throw knives"

"It's ok. I bet you are a natural"

"Uh ok"

I looked at the knives i had in my left hand. I took one into my right hand and flipped it.

Here goes nothing.

I threw the first knife into the apple.

The second apple i did a 360 spin to get a more forceful throw.

Then the third apple i threw it, just like the first throw.

Gally looked at me with a smile.

"Like i said. Natural" Gally said pointing to the apples.

I walked over to the apples and saw that the knives went through the apples.

I squealed.

"Ok, let's test a big knife before we go to lunch" Gally said.

Gally led me over to a tree.

"Ok see those three some what thick branches? Try to cut them off in one swing" Gally said.

"Uh ok"

I raised my knife and cut through the branches with no trouble.

"Nice" Gally said hi-fiving me,"we could defiantly use this for building as well.

"Well tomorrow i will use it in the maze. And if all goes well, we can make more" i said similing.

"Great. Now let's go eat" Gally said slinging an arm over my shoulder and leading me to the kitchen.
