A Hero's Weakness

Chapter 6: Broken

 Roshi watched as Goku was running laps around the stadium. Goku looked so happy. Roshi shook his head and sighed. He was entering from the stairwell.

He watched as Goku jumped over a barrel and laughed. He then did a cartwheel and landed perfectly on his feet.

Roshi frowned, knowing the news was going to hurt the kid. He slowly made his way down the stairs. He walked past Nimbus, who was eating some food with the birds, and gave him a small pat on his head. Nimbus looked at Roshi confused.

"Master Roshi! We were worried about ya!" Goku says, while doing bench presses. Goku sat up and looked at Roshi. "Listen Goku, we–we have to–" Roshi was cut off by Goku lifting him in the air and swinging him around.

"Oh Master Roshi, I had the greatest day of my life!" Goku says while swinging Roshi around. Roshi was dizzy but Goku dropped him, his arms open, "I can't get her off my mind! Oh my gosh..!"

Roshi hit the ground with a thud, and he shook his head, and looked at Goku swing himself on the pull-up bar. He then laid across the top, balancing himself. His eyes were slightly closed, "Whew, she sure is something.."

Roshi got off the ground, and eyed Goku, "Goku, I'm tryna talk to you! Come down here so we can talk, it's pretty important!" Goku went back to swinging on the pull-up bar.

Goku had a cheeky smile on his face, "How can I come down there when I'm feeling so.." Goku jumped on the pull-up, sending him up, "Up!"

Nimbus watched as he ate his food, then he heard a whistle. He turned around, and saw another pegasus covering themselves with wings. His eyes widened.

The pegasus revealed themself, winking at Nimbus. It was a beautiful pink pegasus. Nimbus gulped his food down, and his mouth dropped at the sight.

The pink pegasus smirked, as it went into one of the rooms. Nimbus watched, and looked at Roshi who was angrily grumbling to himself, then looked back at the room.

He doesn't come across pegasuses often. So he took the opportunity. He followed the pegasus to the room, where she looked back at him, and laughed.

Nimbus tripped, but used his wings to help him back up, as he slowly flew over to her.

Then suddenly, the pegasus ripped into two. Nimbus' mouth dropped, and his eyes bulged out of its sockets. He was truly disturbed by the sight.

Then the two parts of the pegasus turned into Dodoria and Zarbon. "Gotcha!" Dodoria smirked as he grabbed Nimbus. Zarbon only stood there, flipping his braid.

Back with Roshi, he watched as Goku came back down, "Cool cool, but can you just–" Goku landed on his feet, squatting in front of Roshi, "And if it wasn't for you, Master Roshi, I would've never met her." He hugged his master tightly.

Roshi snarled, as Goku gave him a nudge, "Loosen up! I know that–" "Listen to me, she's–" Roshi was cut off by Goku trying to punch him playfully.

"I got something for ya, dodge!" Goku punched again, and Roshi dodged. "Goku you gotta lis–" "A dream come true? The most beautiful woman on this planet?" Goku smiled to himself, still playfully fighting Roshi.

"She's a–" Roshi was cut off again, "A wonderful–" Roshi had enough of Goku's talk, and shouted, "She's a fraud!"

Goku raised his brow and smirked. He rolled eyes and turned away from Roshi.

Roshi continued, "She's playing you! Sh-She works for another alien–" Goku only laughed, "Psh, stop playing around." "I'm not playing around!" Roshi pointed a finger at the boy, "I'm tryna a–"
