A Hero's Weakness

Chapter 9: Frieza!

Roshi instructed Goku and Nimbus to let him drive, as they flew up some long tower.

Goku didn't comment at all. He just wanted a way to defeat Frieza, and save ChiChi.

Once they arrived, Roshi hopped off of Nimbus. "Master Roshi, where are we?" Goku asked, looking around. Roshi sighed, "This is Kami's Lookout."

The place was far above Earth, and looked heavenly.

"Kami's Lookout?" Goku and Nimbus glanced at each other. "Son Goku." A voice says.

Goku looks over and sees Kami, and Mr. Popo along the side. "Greetings, we have seen you fight multiple monsters in the past." Kami says, holding his cane. Mr. Popo nods in agreement.

Goku nods, "Yes. That's true." He looks back at Roshi, "Master Roshi, why are we here? How is this going to stop Frieza and save ChiChi?"

Roshi stepped forward, "They can help you. You're trying to go to Planet Vegeta, right? It takes time to get there. By the time we set you up, it'll be much too late."

Goku bit his lip, and looked back at Kami. "So–"

Kami and Mr. Popo began whispering to each other. "Lord Kami, you said we weren't allowed to help!" Mr. Popo whispers. "For the safety of Earth, and other planets, I suppose a little help wouldn't hurt." Kami whispers back.

Mr. Popo lightly gasped, "My lord, y-you can't be serious–" "I'll do what's best. Besides, this will be the only time." Kami and Mr. Popo looks back at Goku.

Goku stood there with his arms crossed, he looked impatient.

Kami cleared his throat, "We will help you." "Great, so I–" Kami cut Goku off, "You're going to stop Frieza, and save Miss King. We are aware."

"Oh, you guys know a lot.." Goku rubs the back of his neck. "Like I said before, we've seen you in action." Kami states.

"Oh, yeah..! Well," Goku cleared his throat, "could you help me? I-I can't reach Planet Vegeta fast enough." Kami nods, "That is why you're here, correct? We will help you."

Kami opens a portal, and through the portal, you can see Planet Vegeta at its worst. Goku's eyes widened and throat tightened at the sight.

"I'll send you off, but you only have two hours. Do you think you can settle everything in two hours?" Kami asks, raising a brow. Goku thinks to himself, "I have to do this, for ChiChi, and to avenge my people..!"

Goku smiles at Kami, "Yes, I can." Kami nods, "Good. Now, if the time runs out and you aren't done, you'll be brought back to Earth. Unless you want to stay, but that'll have to be before time runs out."

Goku nodded, and looked at Nimbus. "Alright, c'mon Nimbus! Let's go stop Frieza, and save ChiChi!" Nimbus neighed, and ran over as Goku hopped on his back and they went through the portal.

"You brought her body, right?" Mr. Popo asks Roshi. Roshi nods, "Yeah, very uncomfortable." Kami was watching through the portal, "Good luck, Goku."

Goku and Nimbus flew through the portal and looked at Planet Vegeta. It looked awful.

Demons were destroying buildings, and saiyan bodies laid all over the ground. Goku felt himself grow more angry.

He only had 2 hours to get the job done, he better use his time wisely.

He flew to the first demon, and grabbed out his sword. He sliced through the demon's stomach, splitting it into two.
