Chuuya strolled through the hallways, deciding on walking back to his room and catching up on  his sleep. The ginger yawned softly as he reached for his door knob.

However, he was stopped when he noticed the brunette's hurried steps towards him. His eyes widened when he saw the panic on the other's face. He approached the other who pulled at his shirt as he mumbled, "There's something in my shadow."

The ginger parted his mouth in shock as he hesitantly asked, "How do you know there's something in your shadow?"

The brunette ignored the question, "Never mind that! Can't you do something?"

The ginger chuckled awkwardly as he ushered the other into his room. Dazai looked confused, turning to ask the other what he was doing only for Chuuya to cut the other off all the time.

"You have to tell me how you know there's something in your shadow." The ginger stated seriously when both of them were in the room, door closed so that no one would hear them.

"Why is that so important right now?"

The ginger stayed silent before asking out of the blue, "You wanted to know what my specific magic was the first time we met right?"

The brunette raised a brow, eyes inching off his own shadow as he replied, "I do but you didn't want to tell me what it was. Anyways, why are you suddenly brining that up?"

"Because my specific magic type is to do with shadows."

The brunette processed the new found information before he asked, "So...you're the one that did something to my shadow?"

The ginger's eyes darted around the room as he thought of a way to explain it, "I didn't do anything your shadow. I just shadowed you."

The brunette muttered a small 'what?' as the ginger sighed, "Shadowing someone means to....like connect with them?"

"When did you shadow me?"

"In the dining room on my first day here."

"...Why?"

"First impressions count."

The brunette seemed clueless as he then asked, "So...you're just following me everywhere I go?"

"My shadow is." The ginger nodded, confirming.

"Take it back. I don't want your shadow with me."

"Well..." The ginger started as he was cut off by the brunette glancing at his shadow and back to the ginger as he said, "I don't want it."

Chuuya nodded as he said, "I don't know how to take it back."

The both of them stood in silence before the brunette spoke up, "How?"

"I never shadowed anyone before so I'm not sure how to remove it."

The brunette stood there motionless as he sighed, turning and attempting to leave the room before the ginger stopped him, "Wait, you still haven't told me how you knew about the shadow."

Dazai stopped as he turned to glance at the other, "What can you shadow do anyways?"

The ginger smiled as he bragged, "A lot of things."

The brunette seemed unimpressed as he continued, "Is that how you knew I was danger at the port?"

The ginger recalled feeling a tinge at the tip of his fingertips before he had rushed to the booth the brunette was at. He nodded, "I guess so. I can sense when you're in danger. I can sense everything actually..."

"Define everything."

"My shadow is like a barrier. I can see and hear things that happen on your side. But because it's a barrier, I can't hear or see clearly. It's like....muffled." The ginger was quite proud at describing what he hears and see. He however was met with his coat being thrown at his face.

He thankfully caught it in time as he glanced at the brunette who glared at him, "Ever heard of privacy? How do I know you aren't sneaking in on me when I'm alone?"

The ginger hurriedly defended hismelf, standing up as he was initially sitting on his bed. "I swear I never did anything inappropriate. I haven't used heard or seen anything since I shadowed you!"

Dazai felt his cheek heat up as he retorted, "How do I know you aren't lying?"

"I swear on my mom and dad I didn't."

The brunette, upon hearing the ginger bringing in his own parents finally felt himself relax slightly as he scoffed, arms akimbo as he glanced away at the ginger who looked worried that he wouldn't believe him.

Chuuya hesitantly approached the other as the brunette outstretched his arm, "One metre away from me."

"What? Why?" The ginger looked offended at the sudden social distancing he needed to do for no other reason.

The brunette retorted bluntly, "How about you reflect on forcefully connecting someone by their shadow before talking to me."

The ginger groaned in annoyance, "But I'm only here for a week."

"That's not my problem. Why didn't you think about that before shadowing with me?" The brunette retracted his arm as he waved goodbye to the other before turning and warning the other, "If I catch you sneaking on me, I'm sending you back to your own kingdom."

The ginger frowned before sighing.
