The Nakahara family were staying at their castle for a week, their kingdom close enough to reach in an hour or so.

The brunette was currently still in the library, reading his book, eyes glancing over the tiny words. It was like always, where he spend most of his time, alone. He never felt lonely whatsoever but he sometimes wished for company to just sit with him.

That was why he was rather happy when the ginger squeezed hismelf next to him, sitting by his side and lazily reading the book he was holding.

"What's this book about anyway?" The ginger interrupted his reading as he answered blandly, "History."

Chuuya hummed, giving up on reading and instead just keeping the other company.

"Dazai? Nakahara-kun? Are you in here?" The brunette recognised his mother's voice as he saw the ginger straightening his posture, about to call out to his mother but he quickly slapped his hand over the ginger's mouth, shushing him. His book was yet again left by his side, abandoned as the ginger looked at him, confused.

He whispered, "Don't give out my hiding spot."

He saw the ginger raise a brow before nodding ripping the brunette's hand off his mouth.

He heard the click-clack of his mother's heels as he picked up his book, straightening the pages as he resumed his reading.

From the side of his eyes, he caught a glimpse of the ginger glancing at him before shifting his gaze back to the shelves of books in front of them.

"What's..." The brunette started, hesitating when the ginger snapped his head to look at him, seemingly happy about him speaking first.

He continued softly, "What's your sorcery?"

The ginger seemed to smile at the question, "Nothing much. I'll tell you next time. You...Do you have any abilities?"

The brunette bit his inner cheeks when the ginger didn't answer his question directly as he shook his head.

"I don't have anything special. I'm just a normal human."

The ginger had heard the brunette's father talking about his son not getting his psychic abilities. Meaning his sole son couldn't continue the barrier on the kingdom, which was probably why he had asked to meet with his own father.

"Well, I'm sure there's something unique about you." The ginger started, glancing at the brunette who seemed distant from the conversation, attention on his book once again as Chuuya sighed, tempted to snatch the book away from the other.

He stood up, making his way out of the small gap, breathing in the fresh smell of books as he glanced at the brunette and was surprised to see the other staring at him. His lips parted as he muttered, "I don't think I'm that special either...without my sorcery."

The brunette's eyes widened at that as he glanced back at his book before snapping it close. He too, climbed out of the gap, standing eye to eye with the ginger as he slid the book back to where it belonged before walking away. And as expected, the ginger hurriedly followed behind him.

The brunette would have loved to deny the other's statement just now but he decided against him, the Chuuya wouldn't like that. He slowed his steps, allowing the ginger to catch up with him, walking by his side with that natural confident stride he didn't have. Despite his fake confident appearance, he was far from actual confidence.

The brunette caught a glimpse of both of the parents walk past them before backtracking and hastily approaching them.

"Where were the both of you?" Both mothers said in sync as they glanced at each other, chuckling before turning back to their two sons. The father's behind their wives. Dazai saw his father staring at him coldly, as if disappointed at him, like he always was. He glanced at the raven haired beside his father. He was surprised when he was met with a soft gaze staring at the him and his son.

Dazai noticed the slight upward curve of the man's lips as he approached the both of them, hand resting gently on his wife's shoulder, "Seems like both of you are getting along. I'm glad..."

So that was why he was happy and smiling. The brunette registered the expression as his father sighed, nodding at his mother before walking away, "I'll let the both of you continue whatever you two were doing."

Chuuya's father nodded kindly at them, following the other king, continuing their conversation of the problems their kings were having. The brunette caught the smile his father had. He was unsure whether it was fake or not but he rarely saw his father smile, must be a interesting conversation, he assumed.

His mother started, "Please make your way to the dining room when it's dinner time. Now, run along."

Both mother's stared at each other before smiling.

Dazai saw the ginger rolled his eyes as he walked the opposite way. He hesitated to follow. Only when he saw his mother subtly nod at him did he follow.

Chuuya noticed as he teased, "Mother's boy aren't you?"

The brunette smartly retorted, "I don't find anything wrong with respecting your mother. You should learn from me."

The ginger seemed shocked at the response as he struggle to find a appropriate response. He was met with the ginger clicking his tongue in annoyance as he glanced away, refusing to meet his eyes.

The brunette found hismelf looking the ginger up and down. He was very curious to find out what aura and energy the ginger had. He was extremely tempted to open his godly eyes but he restrained.

The ginger noticed and exclaimed, "Where are you looking at?"

"Your bad fashion sense." The brunette bluntly said, making the ginger gasp in shock.

He could get used to this...
