The duo were now heading to the ginger's parents room, where they assumed they were. Speak of the devil, the raven haired had appeared out of the room, holding a book in one hand and seemingly engrossed in what he was reading.
Dazai felt rather guilty to disturb the other just for a 'simple' phone number. The ginger, upon noticing the brunette's hesitance he was so used to just sighed and grabbed the other by the wrist, dragging him to face his father.
Just like he had predicted, the raven haired immediately turned to them, book left dangling by his side as he hummed in question. The brunette couldn't help but smile at the other's actions, so simple yet powerful, to him at least.
The ginger did most of the talking as Dazai watched keenly as the curious look on Chuuya's father's face turned with the raising of a brow before it turned into a frown incredibly fast.
He had seen the raven haired glancing at him multiple time in concern before moving his attention back to his own son. It was hard to explain the possibilities on why Dazai could be targeted since only Chuuya and the brunette's knew Dazai's had the all seeing eyes of god.
"Alright..." The older sighed as he thought carefully, "How about I bring the number to the tech person and you two stay together alright? I'll solve this."
The raven haired smiled at the brunette, passing his book to the younger before taking the note filled with the numbers and walking away briskly. Dazai always thought Chuuya's father was overly friendly to him. He found it quite suspicious at first but he accepted it as a sense of fatherly affection that he never really experienced.
The ginger had went back to get his coat, forcing the other to wear it and using the excuse that it'll be getting cold soon. When Dazai did finally wore the coat, finding some form of comfort in wearing it, the door to the ginger's parent's room opened and a white haired lady came out.
The brunette always thought the white haired was very beautiful, with her white hair framing her face perfectly instead of making most look old. She had a rather....unique form of affection, silent yet warm unlike his own mother who was both warm and talkative. The brunette quite liked the ginger's mother, the way she ruffled his lover's hair to the way she smiled at him.
Her smile was different too. The way her lips curved upwards equally on both sides , lips thin and pursed together, yet it gave a sense of kindness behind it. The brunette did observed that the ginger most likely resembled his father more than his mother which is a shame.
But don't get him wrong, he still found the ginger very attractive...
Dazai thoughts were cut off when he heard the white haired ask them softly, "What are you two doing here? Did something happen?" Which the ginger replied with the entire story cut down to what briefly happened which the white haired merely gasped at and quickly checked on the brunette.
Dazai also found the white haired similar to his mother. Both their mothers had grown close and were now frequently chatting with each other. Something that the brunette found good and...bad.
Dazai merely smiled at the other and assured the other he was fine.
"Don't worry dear. You're safe here. And my chuuya darling will protect you. Right?" The white haired turned her head to face the ginger, glancing at him with anticipation which the ginger merely rolled his eyes at the doubt and exclaimed, "Of course." With a hand pulling at his waist, bringing him closer."
The brunette glanced away, a slight blush tinting his cheeks as he shyly pulled away from the other, walking away quickly as the white haired merely laughed. The brunette was stopped by the ginger who had gripped onto his hand, intertwining fingers with the other before raising both their hands to proudly show to his mother.
The white haired merely smiled in a reassured way and exclaimed across the hallways, "Dazai dear, give a shoutout if you need anything yeah?"
The brunette nodded, smiling at the other in gratitude before the white haired added, "And tell me if my son does anything stupid!"
The brunette stifled a snicker as the ginger glared at his mom, yelling at her to stop her jokes.
Dazai thinks that staying with the ginger's family was the best choice he had made... The brunette glanced down at the book that was still in his hand before mumbling, "Oh....I forgot to give the book back..."
---
The raven haired sighed as he glanced at the scrawny looking man with circular spectacles that were was too big for his face. The man stared at the overly bright screen in the ridiculously dim room. He mumbled, "I think the number is a scam, my lord."
"Explain.""The number had multiple bugs in it. Most likely the scammer wanted to hack into devices that had the number in them and control it to his will."
The raven haired frowned, "Can you track it down?"
"That'll be hard. The number seemed to be connected to many people's devices." The man turned around to face the king in his swivel chair as he gulped before muttering, "This might be a kingdom wide problem, my lord."
