It's been three days since I've heard or seen Morgan. At first I thought he must've been busy or he wasn't feeling good. But now I'm in full panic mode. I talked to the hockey team and no one has heard from him. Rory hasn't heard from him, and he hasn't showed up to school. I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach I haven't been able to shake.

I have a feeling Lizzy has something to do with this. That's why Ava and I are in the car driving to Morgan's house. I swear if she did something to him, I'm going to-

"Do you want a twizzler?" Ava's voice broke me out of my thoughts as she stuck a bright red licorice in my face.

"No thanks."

"More for me then." She shrugged and took a bite.

We pulled into the driveway and I got out before Ava could ask me if I wanted another snack. I was too stressed to think about food. I needed to know if Morgan was okay. I jogged up to the front door and knocked harder than I intended. Morgan's dad, Joseph Woods, opened the door a few seconds later.

"Daisy? What are you doing here?"

"Hi Mr. Woods. I was hoping to talk to Morgan. He hasn't been to school in a few days and I have all of his missed work."

"That's kind of you Daisy but Morgan isn't here." My heart dropped to my feet. "He's with his mom." And then my heart flew back into my chest and began to beat normally again.

"Oh, okay. Should I leave his work with you or take it to him?"

"You can take it to him. I'm not sure when he'll be back home. I'll send you the address."

The man standing in front of me didn't understand how relieved I was to hear this news.

"Okay, thank you." I smiled softly before jogging back to my car. I opened the door and got into the driver's seat.

"So was he there?" Ava turned with anticipating eyes.

"No, he's at his mom's house." I explained.

"See? I told you he was fine. You did all that panicking for nothing."

I shot my friend a look before I received the address for Katie, Morgan mom's, house. I quickly pasted the address into my maps and drove off.

"Do you want me to stay with you, or do you want to go see your man by yourself?" Ava asked in between bites.

"I always need you with me. I don't know what I'd do without my best friend." I looked at her out of the corner of my eye and smiled.

"Awww, D you're so sweet." She teased.

I rolled my eyes and focused on driving. I heard Ava giggle as she rummaged through her bag of snacks. About a half hour later we arrived to Katie's house. After I parked, I jumped out of the car and ran up to the front door. Morgan mom's house was three stories tall and absolutely breathtaking. I guess this is the reward you get for being a brain surgeon.
