It's been about a month since I've officially moved in with my mom, almost two months since Daisy and I first kissed, and just a half hour away from the game that determines if we go to the playoffs. You could say I'm feeling all the emotions. I'm happy and excited about everything. Everyone has mentioned how happy I've been recently and I truly believe them.

But I also am feeling nervous and a little sick to my stomach. I probably shouldn't have had burritos for lunch. Daisy has been the only one who has picked up on my nervous and anxious energy. That's why I am pacing back and forth in the back corner of the library.

I have always kept everything in, never letting anyone see my emotions or tell anyone how I am feeling. But since I've moved in with my mom and I have Daisy by my side, I have been wanting to share everything with them. I texted Daisy about seven minutes and twenty-four seconds ago that I need help with getting my head in the game.

My head snapped up when I heard fast but soft footsteps approaching.

"I am so sorry I didn't get here sooner. Mrs. Evan's saw me and wanted to talk about my creative writing story." Daisy explained as she was bent over slightly with her hands on her knees, out of breath.

"She's a big talker." I whispered. I already felt slightly better just being in Daisy's presence. I want nothing more than to have her with me for the rest of my life.

"How are you doing?" She asked after catching her breath.

"I am about to rip all my hair out and I'm regretting those burritos." I responded honestly.

"Yeah, maybe burritos weren't the best choice for a pre-game snack. Also don't you dare touch that hair of yours, it's one of my favorite things about you."

I held my hands up in the air in mock surrender, "Yes ma'am."

Daisy held her hands out in front of her and I placed my hands on top of hers. Her fingers closed around my hands as she looked into my eyes.

"It is a thousand percent okay to be nervous. But also remember this is what you've been looking forward to the last two weeks. If you win this game then you get to fly to Canada and play in the playoffs and the championship." As she spoke her thumbs brushed the back of my hands softly.

I took a step towards her as she continued to speak, "And if you lose, that's okay. We both know you and the team will be together at the rink at least once a week to just have fun."

Another step, our shoes touching at the toes.

"You also have college hockey to look forward to as well. Remember the scout said that the head coach already wanted you to play goalie? And you have a whole fan section waiting in the stands as we speak."

My arms slowly slipped around her hips as I leaned my face down, closer to hers.

"Yeah, but I only care about one fan." I whispered to her, as our noses barely touched.
