Serenity stood in the kitchen on her phone texting the group chat back.
Saior sat in her high chair clanking her spoon up against her plate then she banged on the platform blowing bubbles.
Kali sat at the island picking over her food, eating bits and pieces as whatever was playing on the iPad kept her attention.
The sound of the garage door lifting up caught Serenity's attention.
"Uh oh." Serenity said looking at Saior. "Who is that?"
Saior just looked at her.
"Is that daddy?" Serenity questioned.
"Da!" Saior breathed out.
"Da home?" Serenity breathed out moving to pick Saior out of the high chair. "Is daddy home?"
A few seconds later the door opened revealing Kosa.
Serenity did a playful gasp. "It is da!"
"Wassup big girl." Kosa said moving to kiss Kali.
Saior kicked her legs and screamed trying to get down so she could get to Kosa.
"Hey daddy baby!" Kosa smiled grabbing her from Serenity's arms. "Hey pretty girl." He said tickling her. "I missed you." He kissed her on the cheek.
"Hey baby." He said kissing Serenity on the lips.
"Hello, now goodbye." Serenity said before walking away.
Kosa smacked his lips already knowing what she was doing. She did it every time. She made him watch the kids while she disappeared somewhere in the house. Sometimes she'd even take it so far and leave!
"What you eating Kal, let me get some." Kosa said.
"Spaghetti." She said shaking her head no, indicating he couldn't get none.
"Oh like that?" He questioned raising his eyebrows. "Why sister be mean to me? Hm?"
He looked Saior in the face then kissed all around her face making her laugh.
"You silly." He said. "Silly silly silly."
Kosa had officially grown into being a family man.
