(About 4 yrs after ACFTL)

The lovers had been living at the Hollow ever since they figured out their situation years ago.

One morning, Eva was walking around in their gardens. Picking some vegetables and tending to her many flowers.

That's when Jacks woke up.

He awoke slowly and moved his arm to move his wife closer to him. Only when he reached his arm to her side of the bed, she wasn't there.

He sat up, trying not to panic. She probably just couldn't sleep. That's been her normal recently.

"Little fix?" He called out, to no avail.

He wasn't worrying yet, but he got up to explore the rest of The Hollow in search of Evangeline.

When he reached the first floor, he caught a glimpse of her rose-gold hair walking around in the garden, and he sighed in relief.

She was not paying attention to him as he opened the door to their gardens. She was kneeling by her flowers.

"Eva?" He called out quietly, so as not to spook her.

She looked up and smiled brightly at him. "Jacks," she sighed happily.

She then stood up, and Jack smiled even more upon seeing her stomach.

She was about eight months at this point, and they were elated. It was only a month until Jack got to meet his little girl. (Well, at least what they think it is.)

"What are you doing, love?" Jacks asked.

"Couldn't sleep. I figured I could tend the garden." She replied, made her way over to Jacks, and kissed him.

Jacks kissed back contentedly. When they broke apart, they rested their foreheads together. He could stay here with her like this forever. He moved his hands down and traced lazy circles around her bump. He still couldn't believe they were going to be parents. He was finally happy. He lived so long, miserably, until her.

"I love you so much," he said earnestly. Hoping to convey just how much he truly means that.

"I love you too," she said, equally honest.

Jacks then looked down to her stomach and talked to the baby, "I love you too, my littlest fox."

Evangeline simply smiled at him, and that was all he needed. His wife and his daughter (maybe)

He finally found his life.
