As soon as Lilly heard the familiar knock on her dorm room door, she knew exactly who it was. A flutter of anticipation raced through her, and she hurried to open it.
There stood Caitlin, her smile warm and reassuring. Before Caitlin could say anything, Lilly flung herself into Caitlin's arms, burying her face against Caitlin's chest. The embrace felt immediate and necessary, as if Lilly had been craving Caitlin's touch all day.
Caitlin laughed softly, wrapping her arms around Lilly and holding her close. "Hey, I didn't expect such a warm welcome," she said, her voice gentle and affectionate.
Lilly squeezed Caitlin tightly, her heart thudding with relief and contentment. "I don't know what it is," she admitted, her voice muffled. "I've just needed this all day. Your touch, your presence—it's like it's the only thing that's been on my mind."
Caitlin's smile softened, her fingers gently running through Lilly's hair. "I'm here now. Everything's okay."
Lilly pulled back slightly, her eyes meeting Caitlin's. "Yeah, it is. I just... I've missed you."
Caitlin's expression turned tender, and she leaned in to kiss Lilly on the forehead. "I've missed you too. Let's just stay like this for a while."
Lilly nodded, her heart full. "Sounds perfect."
As Caitlin and Lilly entered the dorm room, Caitlin took Lilly's hand with a reassuring grip, guiding her towards the bed. Once they reached the bed, Caitlin maneuvered Lilly down onto it with deliberate, tender movements. She positioned herself beside Lilly, pulling her close with a sense of purpose.
"Hey, pretty girl," Caitlin murmured softly as she settled beside Lilly. Her arm draped protectively over Lilly, holding her close. "Had a tough day?"
Lilly shook her head, pressing her face into Caitlin's chest. "Not really. I just... needed you all day," she confessed, her voice a soft whisper.
Caitlin's heart ached with affection as she wrapped her arms tighter around Lilly. "Well, baby, I'm right here now," Caitlin said, her voice both soothing and assertive. "You don't need to worry about anything. I'm here to take care of you."
Lilly sighed with contentment, allowing herself to fully relax into Caitlin's embrace. "Thank you," she murmured. "I missed you so much. It's like you're the only thing I could think about."
Caitlin's eyes softened as she looked down at Lilly, her touch becoming even more tender. "You don't have to thank me. Being with you is exactly where I want to be. You're my priority, and I'm here to make sure you're okay."
Caitlin adjusted their positions slightly, pulling Lilly even closer and ensuring she was nestled securely against her. "You've had a long day, pretty girl. Let me take care of you," Caitlin said with a gentle authority that conveyed her commitment.
Lilly closed her eyes, her body melting into Caitlin's warmth. "I feel so much better now," she whispered, her voice full of relief.
Caitlin's fingers traced soothing patterns on Lilly's back, her touch tender and reassuring. "Good, baby. Just relax and let everything else fade away. I'm here, and I won't let anything bother you."
The room fell into a serene quiet, broken only by their steady breathing and the soft rustling of the bed. Caitlin's loving presence enveloped Lilly. Lilly's muscles gradually relaxed, every worry melting away as she surrendered to Caitlin's affectionate care. "I'm really glad you're here," Lilly mumbled sleepily, her voice filled with gratitude.
Caitlin's grip tightened gently, her lips brushing Lilly's forehead with a soft kiss. "Me too, pretty girl"
As Caitlin and Lilly lay entwined on the bed, their faces were so close that their breaths mingled. They gazed into each other's eyes, the warmth and affection between them palpable. Caitlin's fingers lightly traced Lilly's cheek, and Lilly's lips parted slightly, as if ready for a kiss.
Just as they were about to close the distance between their lips, the sharp ring of the phone broke the moment. Both girls jumped slightly at the sudden interruption.
Lilly sighed in frustration, but she couldn't hide a small, playful smile. Without thinking, she leaned in and pressed a quick, tender kiss to the corner of Caitlin's mouth. "Don't answer," Lilly murmured, her voice soft but firm. "Stay here with me."
Caitlin looked at her with a mix of amusement and reluctance, her hand still gently stroking Lilly's hair. "I'd love to, but it might be important," she said, though her tone was light and full of affection.
"Please," Lilly said, snuggling closer and resting her head against Caitlin's chest. "Just for a little longer. I really don't want to move."
Caitlin's resolve wavered as she looked down at Lilly, who was nestled comfortably in her arms. With a soft sigh, Caitlin let her phone ring unanswered, her attention fully on the girl in her arms.
"Okay, okay," Caitlin said with a tender smile. "You win. I'll stay."
Lilly's smile broadened as she snuggled deeper into Caitlin's embrace, feeling completely content. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
