Author's POV:

Aparna entered Rajvansh's cabin, and he looked up from his PC with a frown that quickly transformed into a grin of surprise. He immediately stood and rushed to her side, pulling her into a tight hug. Aparna remained rigid, her arms barely moving as she tapped his back lightly.

"Chocolate, you're here! I missed you so much," he said, cupping her cheeks and kissing her forehead. She closed her eyes, feeling a pang of betrayal mixed with his warmth.

"Hi," she said softly, forcing a smile. "How have you been?"

"Better now that you're here," Rajvansh replied, his eyes filled with genuine happiness. "How was Mumbai? How did the meeting go?"

"It went well. They agreed to publish my novel," she replied, her voice steady. "But I missed you. I missed you so much."

"I missed you too," he said, his voice sincere. "I'm glad you're back."

She took a deep breath, trying to keep her emotions in check. "I've been craving you," she said, her tone shifting. "I need you. Now."

Rajvansh's eyes sparkled with delight. "Is that so?"

"Yes," she said, gently leading him and pushing him back towards his chair. "Sit down. Let's play a little game."

"A game?" he asked, amused by her sudden change in behavior. "What kind of game?"

"A role-play," she said, taking off his tie and clasping his hands tightly to the chair. "If you answer my questions correctly, you get a reward."

He raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Alright, I'm in."

She leaned in, her voice soft but with a hint of edge. "First question: How did you feel when we got married?"

He looked at her, slightly puzzled. "I was ecstatic, of course. I couldn't believe you were finally mine."

"Good answer," she said, her smile not reaching her eyes. "Next question: Why did you choose me?"

"Because I love you, Chocolate," he replied, his tone earnest.

She nodded, her expression neutral. "Third question: What did you think when you found out about my adoption?"

Rajvansh hesitated for a moment. "I was surprised, but it didn't change how I felt about you. I still loved you."

"Interesting," she said, her voice calm but intense. "Fourth question: Did you ever do something to ensure we would be together, no matter the cost?"

He looked more unsettled, glancing away. "Aparna, I've always done what I thought was best for us."

She narrowed her eyes, leaning in closer. "Final question: Did you blackmail my parents to get me to marry you?"

Rajvansh's face went ashen, the color draining from his cheeks. His eyes widened in panic, his breath quickening. "Aparna, where is this coming from? Did your parents said something?"

"Just answer the question," she insisted, her voice hardening.

He swallowed hard, his fear palpable. "I... I did what I had to do, Aparna. I love you. I couldn't risk losing you."

Aparna's eyes widened, the confirmation of her worst fears hitting her like a blow. "So it's true. You blackmailed them. You forced them to fake a heart attack to manipulate me."

"Aparna, please, let me explain," he began, his voice trembling with desperation.

"Explain what? That you threatened to reveal my adoption? That you used my parents' love for me against them?"
