After spending the whole day shooting and practicing, Somi returned to her dorm with Nia. The exhaustion of the day was evident on their faces, but as they settled into the comfort of their shared space, a sense of camaraderie enveloped them.

"Who are you chatting with? Jiminshi?" Somi teased with a playful nudge.

"N-no, why would I chat with him?" Nia replied, a nervous laugh escaping her lips.

"Hah, caught you, darling. Now stop lying and tell me how things are going between you two," Somi insisted, her eyes glinting mischievously.

Nia hesitated, her gaze dropping to her fidgeting hands. "He's good, actually very good. But after what happened with Annie unnie, I'm struggling to trust him fully," she confessed quietly, the weight of her words hanging in the air.

The mention of Annie's name caused a flicker of sadness to pass over Somi's face. It had been a year since she lost her elder sister, and the pain still felt fresh at times.

Nia noticed Somi's change in demeanor, her own voice softening. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, Somi."

"It's okay, Nia," Somi replied gently, her tone comforting. "But don't worry, Jiminshi isn't like that. He's the best man you could ever get," she reassured her friend, reaching out to squeeze Nia's hand reassuringly.

As Somi turned to leave, Nia called out again, her voice hesitant. "Somi, what about Jin Sunbaenim?"

"What about him?" Somi asked, her voice tinged with caution.

"He isn't at fault either-" Nia started, but Somi cut her off abruptly.

"He's not at fault? You're saying this?" Somi's voice rose slightly, a mixture of frustration and pain evident.

"My sister was tortured to the extent that she killed herself. I wanted to send Taehyung to jail for it, but he settled the matter and didn't let him go to jail," she explained bitterly, the memories of her sister's suffering still haunting her.

"Somi, Taehyung is his brother and-" Nia attempted to interject, her voice pleading for understanding.

"His brother is brother? What about my sister?" Somi's words came out in a rush, her emotions raw.

"She was my elder sister who took care of me like a mother. And I shouldn't do anything to seek justice for her?" Her voice cracked with emotion, tears threatening to spill.

Nia sighed softly, realizing the depth of Somi's pain. She wanted to mention that Taehyung was sick, that there were complexities beyond what Somi saw, but she knew now wasn't the time. Instead, she chose to remain silent, her heart heavy with the weight of their shared history.

After some time, Somi had just finished freshening up when her phone rang.

"This isn't a Korean number," she mumbled to herself as she picked up the call, her curiosity piqued.

"Hello?" Somi answered cautiously.

There was a moment of hesitation on the other end, as if the caller was gathering courage.

"Hello, who is this?" Somi asked again, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of apprehension.

"S...Somi," came a whispered reply from the other end.

Somi's eyes widened in disbelief, her breath catching in her throat when she recognized the voice.

"U...Unnie?" Tears welled up in Somi's eyes, her heart pounding with a mix of shock and overwhelming emotion.
