Taehyung paced nervously in the grand, opulent room that had become his temporary prison. The walls were adorned with dark, heavy drapes and the furniture was sleek and intimidating, each piece meticulously arranged to exude both power and control. Taehyung’s thoughts were racing as he ran through the escape plan in his mind for the umpteenth time. He had meticulously mapped out every step, every possible exit, and every contingency. The plan was to slip away unnoticed and find safety far from Jungkook’s clutches. But now, it seemed like time was running out.

The sudden creak of the door startled him. Jungkook strode in, his confident demeanor unmistakable. But today, there was a chilling addition to his presence: Taewon, Taehyung’s young son, clung to Jungkook’s hand.

Taehyung’s heart skipped a beat as he saw his son. Taewon’s wide, frightened eyes locked with his mother’s, and Taehyung’s stomach churned. The sight of his son, caught in the middle of this nightmare, sent a wave of panic through him.

"Look who’s here," Jungkook said, his voice dripping with mockery as he dragged Taewon into the room. "Your precious son."

Taehyung’s breath caught in his throat. He took a step forward, his usual composure replaced by raw fear. “Taewon! What’s going on? Why is he here?”

Jungkook’s smile was cold and unfeeling. He tightened his grip on Taewon’s small arm, making the child flinch. “Taewon is my leverage, Taehyung. If you attempt to escape or cause any trouble, I will make sure he pays the price.”

Taehyung’s mind raced. The sight of Taewon, who looked so small and vulnerable in Jungkook’s grasp, was almost too much to bear. His escape plan, which had seemed so perfect moments ago, was now a distant thought. His son’s safety was paramount.

“What do you want from me?” Taehyung’s voice was shaky but resolute, a mix of desperation and determination. “Why are you doing this?”

Jungkook’s smirk widened, showing no hint of remorse. “I want you to stay put and comply with my demands. As long as you do, Taewon will remain unharmed. If you try anything, I assure you, you’ll regret it.”

Taehyung’s heart ached at the fear in Taewon’s eyes. He knew he had to make a decision. His son’s safety came first, no matter what. “Fine,” Taehyung said, his voice trembling but firm. “I’ll stay. Just please, don’t hurt him.”

Jungkook’s expression softened slightly, though the cruelty in his eyes remained. “Good. I knew you’d see reason.”

Taehyung moved toward Taewon, crouching down to be at eye level with him. He forced a reassuring smile despite the turmoil inside him. “I’m here, Taewon. Everything will be okay. I promise.”

Taewon’s eyes filled with tears, and he reached out toward Taehyung. “mom, I don’t want to stay here. I want to go home.”

Taehyung’s throat tightened. “I know, sweetheart. I’ll do everything I can to get us out of this, but right now, I need you to be brave for me.”

Jungkook watched the exchange with a cold, detached amusement. “You’ll have plenty of time to say your goodbyes. I have some matters to attend to, so I’ll leave you two alone for now.”

With that, Jungkook exited the room, leaving Taehyung and Taewon alone. The door clicked shut behind him, and Taehyung immediately pulled Taewon into a tight embrace.

“I’m so sorry, Taewon,” Taehyung whispered, his voice breaking. “I never wanted you to be part of this. I’ll find a way out of here, I swear.”

Taewon clung to his father, his small frame trembling. “I’m scared, mom. What if he doesn’t let us go?”

Taehyung stroked Taewon’s hair, trying to comfort him. “We have to stay strong. I’m going to make sure nothing happens to you. You’re my top priority.”
