"I don't know, but I have this gut feeling that this cliff will lead us somewhere," Saitama told Brandon as he follows the edge of the cliff while distancing the vehicle from it for safety.
"I respect you for your decision. That's honestly what I have been thinking right after we got through here," he replied, commending his suggestion. Then, he saw a sudden edge of the cliff, almost slipping the thick, large stomper tires. But with the help of an all-wheel drive, he evaded the vehicle from the potentially life-threatening accident.
With its plush suspension system currently absorbing the shock coming from the harsh terrain, he spotted a certain house from a distance. He gently pressed the brake until the vehicle came to a full stop. Brandon pulled out his binoculars and looked at it.
"Someone's inside the house," he remarked.
"Can we ask them where we are?" The Caped Baldy asked.
"There's only one way to find out," he responded as he put the binoculars back in place as he turned around, looking for a safe way to descend the mountain.
As they go down the tall mountain, Brandon saw a single drop of snow in his windshield. Then, the vehicle's speaker went off.
"Warning: Incoming blizzard. 150 meters away from your current location."
"Spire Mode..." Brandon muttered, switching something in the middle of his dashboard below the air-conditioning vent. (Spire is my made-up term for "Spike Tire," engaging grippy spikes among the knobby stomper tires) "... engaged."
"Saitama, locate the "Weather Sonar" switch on your door handle and switch it on," he commands.
"Uhh..." He looks for it and it didn't took him a while to locate the switch. "Sonar Monitor... on."
A flick of the lever executed the monitor popping up in front of him, with its screen starting and now showing the temperature inside the vehicle itself and its surroundings covered within its 50-meter radius.
Brandon, on the other hand, is looking for a suitable spot for its pair of hydraulic digger to temporarily glue itself on the ground. A few seconds of descending later, he found a spot, almost immediately steering the vehicle to the right, visibly tilting its body on the left, with the right pair of wheels still in contact with the ground.
The vehicle came to an abrupt stop, positioning it with the upcoming blizzard behind. He flipped a switch near a door handle, activating the four hydraulic diggers on each corner of the vehicle, digging its way through the ground, gluing the vehicle temporarily (he can remove it when he liked) but permanently (the vehicle will not go anywhere) in this scenario.
"Good thing the vehicle fairings is installed," he stated as he pressed a button near his door handle, pushing the tinted windows upward, shutting the inside completely. A ding is heard, a sign that the hydraulic diggers has successfully glued the vehicle on the ground for this moment.
"Warning: Incoming blizzard. 75 meters from your location."
"This blizzard is fast!" The helmet boi said as he clipped the rest of the seatbelts on him. "Do you have your seatbelt on? It's a 5-point."
"Ohhh... That's why there's something to latch on in the middle," Saitama replied as he clipped the rest of the seatbelts around his body.
"Haven't you tried riding in a race car in your life?" Brandon asked.
"Nope," he casually responded.
"25 meters from your location. Brace for impact."
He shut off the vehicle's engine, but leaving the electronics on. After a few seconds, a harsh blizzard came around their vehicle, a muffled rough snowfall can be heard around the vehicle.
