I couldn't find any opponent that can take two or more punches.
All of them were defeated with one punch.
This is getting boring, after all the training I have made.
"I think I'll be eating ramen for lunch," I said as I walked to the convenience store with my white cape flowing through the wind, calmly.
The door dinged as I entered the store. Walking straight to the instant food aisle calmly, I grabbed some, walked to the counter, paid for it, and got out of the store. It's that simple. No fillers.
Then, an explosion.
A regular one.
"I hope this plastic bag is sturdy," I said to myself as I leaped high enough to the sky, leaving a crater from the ground. I looked at where the smoke was coming from and decided to go there by kicking my left leg in the air, propelling me forward to the source of the explosion.
I see dozens of people cornered by a sort of monster. I hope this is it.
I put my filled-plastic bag on my already occupied left hand, turned my right hand into a fist, retracted it back, and...
*POW*
I landed on the ground softly. "Can you indulge a second pu-"
When I turned around, I saw the monster standing, but its head was missing. After a few seconds, its body fell.
"Why... Why always?" I asked myself, disappointed again.
"T-Thank you for saving us!" One of the victims rushed to me and shook my right hand, but later flinched because of the heat. "Ow!"
"Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to touch you in my hot glove," I apologized quickly. "Now, get yourselves out of here. There might be monsters nearby."
"O-Okay!" The frantic man signed others to leave the area, leaving me and the defeated monster's body alone.
I continued to look around and realized that this wrecked area... is my apartment.
"Master! You're here!"
The cyborg named Genos called me from far away, running towards me.
"Oh, hey Genos. How's it been?" I asked as I waved my hand hello.
"I heard that the apartment you're living in is shattered to pieces..." Genos looked around.
"I just realized that now." I feel dejected.
The afternoon has passed (and now it's evening) and I made a makeshift home for me to stay temporarily. I had no choice but to accept the damage caused by the monster I defeated a few hours ago.
I laid down on my makeshift bed, staring blankly at the beautiful night sky, sighing.
Despite the evil, there's always good.
Despite the dark, there's always light.
Despite the monsters, there's always heroes.
It's the universe that is balanced in a weird but natural way.
Wait, why am I thinking stuff like this?
"I'm going to sleep.." I slowly closed my eyes, feeling that the sleep was consuming me, and drifted to rest.

.Wait a minute...
Why am I sleeping too long?
And why didn't my alarm clock ring?
I shot awake because of my body clock, realizing that it's still nighttime.
Wait...
Nighttime?
"And why am I on a grass field?" I asked myself, confused.
Then, I noticed that the night light is brighter than I used to, so I prompted myself to look at the moon and...
This is not good.
