AFTER WEARING around hundreds of thousands outfits and enduring the endless stream of fashion advice from cami's two friends, she eventually settled for a simple striped jumper paired with her beloved jeans and, naturally, her favourite dr. martens.
"guys, i'm super nervous. what if i embarrass myself in front of grace?" cami explained her worries, pacing back and forth in her room.
"alright, sit down. firstly, if you embarrass yourself, it just proves you're a normal person. and secondly, you won't embarrass yourself because you're camilla stone," carla reassured, expertly applying lip gloss to cami's lips. cami shot carla a skeptical look, knowing all too well that she had a talent for finding herself in embarassing situations.
whenever cami had something on her mind, she couldn't help but talk and talk, often spiraling into a cycle of embarrassment and stress. her words would tumble out, leading to awkward moments that left her frantically apologizing, a pattern that only added to her already mounting stress levels.
sophia blurted out, "you'll be fine, and hey, we kinda have a surprise for you later!" her excitement getting the best of her once again.
