You woke up feeling nauseous again, the familiar sensation of morning sickness washing over you.

As you sat up in bed, you glanced over at Jin, who was still asleep.

The past few weeks had been a whirlwind of emotions, from the joy of discovering you were pregnant to the anxiety of how you would break the news to your family and friends.

You quietly slipped out of bed and made your way to the bathroom. After splashing some cold water on your face, you took a deep breath and looked at yourself in the mirror.

Today was the day you and Jin would tell his family about the baby and you wanted everything to be perfect.

You made your way to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast.

The smell of cinnamon pancakes filled the air, and you hoped it would help mask the scent of fried eggs, which had been making you nauseous lately.

As you set the table, you heard Jin coming down the stairs

"Good morning," Jin said, his voice still a bit raspy. He walked over and wrapped his arms around you, planting a gentle kiss on your cheek. "How are you feeling today?"

"A little nauseous," you admitted, leaning into his embrace. "But I'm okay. Today's the big day, remember?"

Jin's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yeah, I remember. Are you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," you replied with a smile. "Let's eat breakfast and then we can start getting everything ready."

After breakfast, you and Jin spent the morning cleaning up the house and preparing for the visit.

You wanted everything to be perfect when his family arrived. Jin's parents were coming over for lunch, and you knew they would be thrilled with the news.

You and Jin had been together for years, and his family had always been supportive. But this was a huge announcement, and you wanted it to go smoothly.

"Everything looks great," Jin said, coming up behind you and giving your shoulders a reassuring squeeze. "They're going to be so happy."

"I hope so," you replied, taking a deep breath. "I'm just a little nervous, that's all."

"Don't worry," Jin said with a smile. "We'll do this together."

Just as you finished setting the table, the doorbell rang. Jin went to answer it, and moments later, his family walked in, greeting you with warm hugs and smiles.

"Y/N, it's so good to see you!" Jin's mother, Mrs. Kim, exclaimed. "You look lovely!"

"Thank you, Mrs. Kim," you replied, "It's great to see you all."

As everyone settled in the living room, you and Jin exchanged a nervous glance. It was time to make the announcement. Jin cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.

"Mom and Dad," Jin began, taking your hand in his. "We have some very exciting news to share with you."

You felt your heart race as you looked at Jin's family, who were now watching you both with anticipation.

"Y/N is pregnant," Jin continued, his voice filled with emotion. "You're going to be grandparents!"

For a moment, there was silence as the news sank in. Then, Mrs. Kim let out a joyful cry and rushed over to hug you both.

"Oh my goodness, this is wonderful news!" she exclaimed, tears of happiness in her eyes. "Congratulations, both of you!"

Mr. Kim rushed over, joining the hug.

The room was filled with laughter and excitement as everyone began talking at once, sharing their joy and asking questions about the pregnancy.

"How far along are you?" Mr. Kim asked, his eyes wide with excitement.

"About ten weeks," you replied, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. "We've been keeping it a secret until we were sure everything was okay."

"And how have you been feeling?" Mrs. Kim asked, concern in her voice.

"I've had some morning sickness, but overall, I'm doing well," you said with a smile.

As the afternoon went on, you and Jin answered questions and shared your plans for the future.

His family was incredibly supportive, offering to help in any way they could.

It was a heartwarming and reassuring experience, and you felt a deep sense of gratitude for their love and support.

Later, as you all sat down to eat the lunch you had prepared, the conversation turned to baby names and baby shower ideas.

Mrs. Kim shared stories from when Jin was a baby, and Mr. Kim offered to help with shopping for baby clothes and supplies.

"Have you thought about names yet?" Mr. Kim asked, a twinkle in his eye.

"A few but we haven't finalized any yet." Jin chuckled.

As the afternoon went on, you shared your plans and dreams for the baby with Jin's family. Their support and enthusiasm made you feel even more confident about the journey ahead.

Later that evening, after everyone had left, you and Jin sat together on the couch, reflecting on the day's events.

"We did it," Jin said, smiling at you. "My family knows, and they couldn't be happier."

You leaned your head on his shoulder, finally feeling at peace.

"Yes, we did. And now we can look forward to the future, together."
