*Hours of dancing later*
Dancing is really fun, I feel more clearheaded than before. I slowly started to realize that what is happening right now is not real.
"Hey, giraffe... When does the dance end?" I asked the giraffe next to me. I could feel my arms and legs getting sore. As fun as this is it's definitely an illusion. Haven't like, way more than 4 minutes pass by? I should be dead right now. Out of the blue lighting McQueen showed up and started wiggling his hips. Oh, nah! I am definitely high. The giraffe looked at me and then proceeded to sing the 50th loop of the song,
"You're a good soldier.
Choosing your battles.
Pick yourself up and dust yourself off, get back in the saddle..." The giraffe vocals were still on point. But it didn't really give me a clear answer. Now that I think about it I've been hearing instruments but from where? It started to rain making our synced dance look more dramatic and somewhat graceful. It got a little colder outside.
"AckCHUU!" I sneezed loudly following up with a sniff. I think I'm getting sick. I stopped dancing for a moment. Everyone dancing around me slowly grew to look more like an excessively stretched out 2D image after that sneeze. A hazmat person that was not stretched into a 2D image approached me and then proceeded to punch me in the face.

*Gasp*
I quickly lifted myself up and checked my surroundings. It seems I was in someone's home. I was laying on a couch in front of a warmly lit fireplace. I could feel the cold sensation on my cheek due to an ice pack. I also had bandages on my hands and knees. I watch as the fire dance for a while. Outside, some moon light slipped in through the room windows. The night was pleasant. The room was too dark to identify anything on the walls.
"Arise human." A deep voice spoke with a low growl behind me. I spiked up and out of the chair while twisting my body around. The person's identity was covered in shadows. "Calm yourself. I don't bite," I watch the tall shadow figure speechless as he just stands there. "Kachow, was it?" Kachow? Does he know about the joke I made!?
"Ummm... Am I supposed to know you?" I carefully asked. The person started to slowly walk around the couch.
"You? A human? Your weak, pathetic, fake, worthless, a threat. All you, will of humans break when confronted by beings stronger than you are." His words were stern and strong. I could feel the weight on his breath as he talked. "You've already seen it. The rekindling of creatures not yet discovered. I'm one of those creatures." The person soon stepped into the campfire's light revealing himself. He looked to be a humanoid tiger. He had this long gorgeous, fancy, red dress. This person also wore sunglasses on his head. He didn't wear shoes and he would have the softest looking fur.
"Great, I'm still hallucinating." I spoke out loud. The tiger person sat down on the couch.
"Please, sit down." The tiger person asked me. I slowly moved towards the couch and sat down next to him. I felt small sitting next to him. "I've applied medication so you shouldn't be hallucinating anymore." The tigar looked at a watch he had on his wrist. "Anytime now... If you want to survive, I would recommend hiding." If I want to survive? Immediately I heard the door getting kicked off its hinges. That was my cue to hide.
"Spencer! Where you hiding that fucking rat!?" The person's voice sounded familiar. I jumped out a window and closed it right as the people breaking in walked in. I peaked through the window. It wasn't just the grumpy girl I met earlier. There was another girl who looked similar to the grumpy girl.
"You know, I don't catch rats." Spencer replied. Spencer went through cabinets getting cups and what looks to be tea. "Glad you made it back safely." Spencer pours the tea ever so gently into three cups.
"Don't play dumb with me! I had my eye on him the whole time! Just as I punched him, I was then blinded by you're flash bomb! If you're any smarter you know we have to kill him." The grumpy girl ranted. Horns, a tail, and claws started to form on the girl in the fit of anger. Their skin would also turn slightly more red as scales would form as well. The grumpy girl's eyes were fierce. I guess nobody's human here, huh. "I watched as a Dethcorro parasite burrow into his hands. Then I watched him dance for hours after." The girl explained slamming her hands on the table.
The girl's eyes immediately locked on to me. I swiftly hid under the window. That's it, I don't know why but this person is pissing me off. I got off the dirt in stared into the window. The grumpy girl stood on the othere side of the window. We locked ferocious eyes. I attempted to open the window... It was locked. Fuck the window! I broke the window trying to get in.
Fuuuck... the window...
"Look at who's coming out of hiding." The grumpy girl taunted. The quiet girl sat next to Spencer and began to drink tea. The grumpy girl inhuman aspects start to revert back into hiding.
"If it's a battle you want," I picked up the tea meant for her on the table and drank it all. "Look no more tea, it's a shame, if only you were a little faster." I noticed the grumpy girl getting a little bit annoyed.
"It's a shame that I have to kill you... You know, you remind me of my girlfriend. They would've loved to talk to a person like you." The grumpy girl said. I know if we fight my blood would end up in every corner of the room, I'd need to think of a plan.
"I challenge you to a cooking competition! If I win, I get to live. If you win, you can... Kill me I guess?" I suggested. No way she'll be good at cooking. And I cook at home all the time. Easy win. I suddenly felt a sudden boost in confidence from her.
"I could kill you anytime, so if I win, you'll have to do everything I ask for, for a day. Fair price for pushing back your death date." The grumpy girl said.
"Let's think about this young man, you don't know much about Alicia, I would be careful." Spencer whispered to me.
"Pfft, I'd be fine. Last time I checked, gorillas can't cook." I told Spencer. "Besides, it's a win, win. I get to at least live another day."
"Let's do this tomorrow shall we. Its getting late." Spencer told everyone. Everyone nodded and went to their rooms including Spencer. I was left standing in the middle of the living room by myself.
This is going to be pain...
