Jake begun preparing to go out after finally coming back from the bathroom. He tried to be quiet because he found a sleeping Tom in his bed. Still he couldn't help but stare and look at the handsome man. Jake noticed he still had his mask off making him smile. Tom looked so peaceful while sleeping only his scars indicated a tragic past. Jake couldn't help himself getting closer to get a better look at Tom. His black hair looked soft and some strands rested on his forehead, he had thick eyebrows and straight dark long lashes. After his boopable nose came a large dark scar reaching to his right jawline and a small one on his right cheek. He also had one on his left jawline which looked like he was burned and a second small scar on his chin. Jake's eyes stopped at Tom's lips. They were slim and only showed a hint of peach but they looked so kissable. He just couldn't help but stare at this gorgeous face, wishing he could also look at his beautiful teal eyes. Jake looked at him for a while totally forgetting the time. He was sad that he had to go grocery shopping and decided to let Tom sleep, he needed the rest. He got his things and closed his bedroom door carefully.

...

Tom woke up being surprised he managed to sleep so deeply after he was finished stretching he was greeted by Chinese takeout.

"Oh. Thanks."

"I hope it's to your taste. I didn't know what you'd like." mentioned Jake causally, even though he was nerves that he might have gotten him something wrong.

"It's my favorite actually." smiled Tom happily, while opening the box.

"Mine too. I had my share already while I was out."

"You went out? I didn't notice." Tom sounded a bit concerned because how could he sleep so deeply. He was a spy. He shouldn't feel this save anywhere.

"I went grocery shopping. I need to make dinner soon." said Jake not noticing anything wrong.

"You like to cook?"

"Yeah. And since I have not much to do I decided to be responsible for dinner. Wanna help?"

"I'd love to... but... I better not."

"Why?"

"I can't cook."

"It can't be that bad." laughed Jake.

"My mom doesn't let me near the kitchen. If that's an indicator." said Tom a bit uncomfortable while looking away.

"Well I can try to teach you. I make a mean kimchi bibimbap." Jake tried to cheer up Tom.

"Haha. I guess I can give it one more try."

Jake was happy finally having company while cooking. He sometimes made lunch with Miriam but he mostly went to her house to escape his trouble. He now noticed how lonely he actually was. Especially after picking up a random stranger from the street and how fun it was just to be around someone who doesn't hate him.

"Okay let's do this." Jake pumped himself up, "I'll set up the rice and you can cut the vegetables. The groceries are over there."

While Tom got the vegetables Jake set up a cutting board and a knife for him. Then he got to cooking the rice. When he wanted to get the beef he noticed how skilled Tom was with the knife.

"Wow. You're so good at this."

"Uhm. Huh. You think so?" asked Tom embarrassed.

"Totally. I made the right choice asking you for help."

Jake cut, seasoned and fried the meet. Then cooked and seasoned the vegetables for the kimchi bibimbap.

"Where is the kimchi?"
