Be Kind

2 1 0

Have a heart that never hardens,
As soft as the morning dew,
Let kindness bloom like flowers,
In everything that you do.

A temper that never tires,
Gentle as a summer breeze,
Patience flows like rivers,
Bringing endless ease.

A touch that never hurts,
Tender as a lullaby,
Comfort in every gesture,
Never one to cause a cry.

A tongue that never lies,
Honest as the sky is blue,
Words that build and raise,
Always pure and true.

Seek not the fleeting spotlight,
Nor the praise of countless cheers,
In humble wisdom, take your flight,
And find joy beyond your fears.

Be mediocre, be anonymous,
In a world that's loud and bright,
Find peace in daily chaos,
And rejoice the quiet of the night.
