Hiding away in the shadows of an alley was a man in his twenties, although he was young in age his line of work put stress on him making some grey strips in his black hair. He was smoking a cigarette watching one of his colleagues yell at the another.
One was man his twenties with short brunette hair. He was shouting at a their younger colleague who was barely into his teen years. He had his head low with his blonde bangs covering grey eyes.
"If we don't find him Trevor, it'll be your head that I'll serve on a platter!" The older man shouted to the younger one, Trevor.
"We've tracked him this far Josh. So calm down." The man with the cigarette said. "It won't take long for us to find. Small towns in the middle of nowhere can always pick out a stranger. I'm sure someone saw a redheaded teen running around."
The man that was yelling at Trevor, Tom, turned around to yell at the first man.
"First of all, he's probably not in the town since he's trying to run away from us and is most likely hiding in the mountains. The mountains that my Intel has told me has not one but TWO WERWOLF TRIBES! How do we not know he's already dead!?"
The man with the graying hair took a deep inhale of smoke before replying.
"If there's more then one Tribe in those mountains then he's fine. You know how those werewolves tribes behave with one another. They're more concerned about themselves then one random vampire kid."
Tom wasn't reassured and only grew more anxious. Werwolves were known to be territorial for a reason. Average human beings can get by unscathed if they don't stick their nose deep into where it doesn't belong. But other supernatural beings? Tom hadn't heard of one getting out of trouble like that and doubted this vampire boy would be the first.
"All we have to do is ask the locals if they've seen a missing boy with red hair recently. That he ran away from his family and we've been hired to take him back."
The man with the graying hair tossed his cigarette on the ground and stepped on it. "And you Trevor are gonna pretend to be his worried brother that came along with us. Got it?"
Trevor obediently nodded to his superior as they all stepped out of the alley and into the town.
