After that whole fiasco with Evelyn, I made my way to the post office in the school.
I thought that maybe my mother or one of my friends had sent me a package.
The post office was a small room. It had a desk and multiple shelves and lockers.
The dark wooden desk was in the middle of the room. It had a computer and multiple stacks of paper on it. Behind it there were multiple shelves placed and on them were Packages and boxes.
In front of the desk on the left wall, there were metal lockers.
And of course... The walls are grey and depressing.
When I arrived there I saw Mia sitting in the office. She looked annoyed and angry.
"Hey Mia, Are you okay?" I asked, concerned.
She was startled, I guess she was deep in thought and didn't see me come in.
"Oh God! You scared me, Shah!" Putting her hand on her chest, trying to calm herself down.
"By the way" she started "Do you know where Evelyn went? She told me she'll be back soon" I look at the schedule sheet behind her and saw that it's Evelyn's shift today.
I sighed. I got lucky today. She wouldn't have given me my packages and letters, and even would throw them out. Just for the fun of it.

I then took out my key from my skirt pocket and went to my locker.
Locker Nr. 27.
I was actually surprised to see that there was actually a letter in it. It's a Wednesday. My mom and my friends only send me stuff on Fridays.
I pick it up and it only has my name and address on it. Nothing from the sender.
"Mia, do you have a letter opener?" I asked, not looking at her but still looking at the letter.
"Yeah.." she answers as she makes her way to me " here you go" she hands me the knife.
I open the letter and I immediately notice that I don't recognise the handwriting.
It's a cursive and beautiful handwriting though.
The letter evokes my curiosity so I immediately start reading it.

"Dear Shahrazad,

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I had a lovely time last Friday with you. I would love to go out with you often and I hope that our relationship grows stronger as I enjoy your company. I have never felt this happy in my life. And I also never felt this way in my life for anyone.
I hope you feel the same way.
Can't wait to see you on Friday!

Best wishes,
Robert Edwards."

I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was reading the letter. I knew it was from him. I was so happy, I could jump from joy. Oh Rob, If only you knew how you make me feel.

As I was admiring the doodles that Robert drew on the side of the paper, I felt heavy breathing next to me. I was a bit starteld but it was only Mia.
I put the letter against my chest in order to hide it.
"Oh man... I didn't finish reading it." She said, looking upset.
But then her frown was replaced by a smirk. A devilish smirk. She then hit my shoulder with hers and wiggled her eyebrows. "Who is that, Shah? A lover?" Her grin was as big as her face.
"None of your business!" I replied angrily. One of the things that I hate the most is when people don't mind their business.
Mia just shrugs her shoulders. "It's okay if you won't tell me, because the sender also sent you flowers and they probably have his name on it" she says as she makes her way back to the desk and picks up a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
"Let's see..." She begins searching for a card on the bouquet and before I could reach her she finds the card. " Ah! Here it is" she starts running around the office trying to get away from me. I don't make the effort to chase her because I know that she'll just give me the bouquet anyway.
"These beautiful flowers reminded me of you! R.E." Mia reads the card out loud "Ooooh! He's such a romantic this...R.E."
I blush at what Mia just read. He knew me for almost a week. We went on one date and he is sending me flowers. He is literally the love interest that I read about in books.
I hope I don't regret liking you, Rob.
I snap out of thoughts and gesture to Mia that she gives me the bouquet.
She reluctantly does what I instruct her to do, but I am taller than her and probably stronger than her. She knows I don't shy away from a fight.
I look at the beautiful bouquet. It has my favourite flowers in it. Did Robert actually listen to me when we were in the garden? Did he actually listen to me ramble about my favourite flowers? I thought he would get bored of me. I only talked about flowers, because I was nervous around him. The bouquet was a mix of Tulips, Poppies, Roses and baby breath flowers. It was wrapped with light baby blue paper.
Basically the bouquet is perfect. Just like him.
I hear giggling around me. It's a few of my colleagues. I look up to see that they are laughing at me.
"I never thought that I would see your face red, Shah!" Rachel said " Who got you blushing like that?!".
They start giggling again like witches.
I just roll my eyes at them and make my way to my room.
