Annie sat on the bed in her bedroom , holding Jae close to breastfeed him. Jae was happily nursing, his little hands moving gently against Annie's chest. But his twin brother, Seol, was feeling restless.

Seol squirmed in Annie's lap, looking around with wide eyes. He seemed eager to explore and play. Annie tried to calm him down, whispering softly and gently stroking his hair. She wanted Seol to be quiet so Jae could eat peacefully.

But Seol was determined. He managed to free one arm from his blanket and reached out to touch Jae's cheek. This surprised Jae, and he made a little noise.

Annie felt torn between amusement at Seol's energy and worry that Jae might get distracted from feeding. She shifted her position a bit to keep them both comfortable and safe.

"Seol, sweetheart, please be patient," Annie whispered, trying to keep everything calm. Taking care of twins was a balancing act, making sure both babies got what they needed while managing Seol's lively spirit.

As Jae continued to nurse and settle into a calm rhythm, Annie felt proud and loving. Even though it was challenging sometimes, these quiet moments with her boys made her heart swell with love. She kissed Jae's head gently and then Seol's forehead, grateful for their presence and the joy they brought into her life.

The door creaked open suddenly, and Changmin entered with an apologetic exclamation.

"Oh, sorry, sorry," Changmin blurted out, immediately turning his head away as Annie instinctively covered herself.

Annie felt a flush of embarrassment as Changmin stood awkwardly in the doorway.

"Umm, you can come in," she managed to say, readjusting her hold on Seol and Jae.

Changmin nodded gratefully and quietly walked over to them. In this world they inhabited, they pretended to be husband and wife for the sake of appearances and practicality, but their relationship was built on a deep friendship and a shared commitment to caring for the twins.

"Hey there, little ones," Changmin greeted warmly, his voice gentle as he crouched down beside Annie and the twins. He reached out to stroke Seol's soft hair and Jae's tiny hand, his eyes filled with genuine affection for the children.

Annie watched Changmin with a mixture of gratitude and fondness.Changmin had been a pillar of support, willingly stepping into a role that was both challenging and rewarding. They had agreed to live together to share responsibilities and support each other in raising the twins, even though they were not romantically involved.

Changmin's presence brought a sense of stability and warmth to their home, and Annie knew she could rely on him in times of need. As he lovingly played with Seol and Jae, making them giggle and coo, Annie's heart swelled with appreciation for the family they had created together—a family bound not by blood, but by care and commitment.

Changmin chuckled softly as Seol reached out to grab his finger, his other hand gently tickling Jae's tummy. "You're such a little brat, Seol," Changmin teased playfully, causing Seol to giggle with delight. He then turned his attention to Jae, making funny faces that elicited adorable gurgles from the baby.

She watched Changmin's interactions with a soft smile, grateful for his natural way with children. He had a knack for bringing out their smiles and easing their fussiness, a skill that she admired and relied on.

"You're so good with them," Annie murmured, her voice filled with warmth. "Thank you for being here, Changmin."

Changmin looked up at Annie, his expression tender. "They bring so much joy into our lives," he replied softly. "I'm thankful to be a part of this,."
