A final wrap up

So the thing is that no one knew about the whole me and Alex thing. When I say no one, I mean the world excluding our parents, siblings, and our friends but now it's everywhere. Last night a paparazzi clicked a photo of me and Alex together and it's all over the news. It was a picture of me pulling and pecking Alex on his lips.

'Hot and most eligible bachelor and bachelorette taken?'

'New power couple alert?'

'The heiress of Anderson and the heir of Knight company committed to each other?'

'Love or political strategy?'

These were some of the news headlines among a few others.

"Just how are they so quick? That dude literally snapped a picture of us just yesterday and early in the morning I wake up only to see it is published everywhere" I said groaning.

"That's how media works angel" Alex said looking into his phone.

"Motherfucker" Alex groaned.

"What happened?" I asked him and he showed me his phone. More pictures of me and Alex were published in an article. The picture contained me pecking Alex cheek and nose, Alex kissing in Amy's wedding rehearsal when I told him to distract me, Alex leaving my company and finally when I was leaving the Knight mansion the night Ryan had a nightmare.

"Ughhh! What now?" I asked Alex retuning his phone back to him.

"We'll have to announce our engagement once we get out here" he said with a sigh.

"Right and how exactly are we going to do that? I mean in which way will we approach the people?" I asked him unsure.

"We can hold a press conference and......" before he could continue his phone rang so he looked at him phone and said "papa" looking at me.

"Go on lift the call" I persuade him.

"Hello. Yes. Yes, she's here with me. She's doing well. One second" he said and put his phone on speaker.

"Emily sweetheart, are you alright?" I heard his mom's voice filled with concern. I smiled at her concern and replied "yes aunty I'm fine. How is everything there and how's Ryan?"

"Everyone is blowing me on my phone. Everyone want to know who this happened. And about Ryan he's totally fine and at present he's sleeping. The boy misses you a lot" I heard her say.

"I miss too miss him" I said.

"Darling as much as I would love to hear you talk, I need to tell them the density of the situation so can you please talk to them later cara mia?" I heard Alex's dad voice.

"Hey kids. I know this news well, how do I put it? Okay so listen to me this news on the media is both good and bad. Good because both of your grandparents are happy that their plot is working; bad because as soon as you both fly back home you have lots of things to do. Starting with: 1. You both will announce your engagement to the world publicly. 2. Emily has to shift to your house. 3. Well it's your engagement party" uncle said.

"Are we really supposed to do all of this uncle?" I asked Uncle.

"I know how exhausting the following few days will turn but I'm really sorry for all these and trust me the above-mentioned tasks were given by your grandpa sweetie. Those old people are too fast with these stuffs" uncle explained. I just sighed and closed my eyes and fell on the bed.
