Chapter 1

The lunch

Alexander's POV:

Today was really a hectic day, dealing with those old people in business world is real pain in ass. "ALEXX......" came a very sweet yet annoying voice which I have sustained for 24 years of my life. That voice belongs to my one and only lovely sister Avery Knight. 

"Alex papa had called you but you being the grumpy ass man didn't receive his call" she said with a smile on her face.

"That explain your barging in my office. Anyways what does papa want this time?" I asked her.

"Well he just want to see how his son is doing since he got so busy that he forgot to make some time for his one and only family" she said dramatically.

"Cut the crap Ave you know that mama would have literally told him to sleep on couch until I come and visit them" I said sighing.

"When you know the reason then why ask me Xander?" she asked.

I just shook my head and smiled at her and told "maybe to annoy you lil sis?"

She just gave me her glare but smiled at me at me and said "only for you Xander only for you. Anyway let's get going before mom will chop my head for getting you late. Ohh! there's also a surprise waiting for you back at home" she smirked.

I raised my eyebrow at her and asked "what might that be?" She just turned her back and said "it's surprise for a reason you know? What fun will it be if I spilled the beans now only dear brother?" and walked away swaying her ass. I just rolled my eyes at her and got up muttering " let's get over with this."

Wonderful when Avery told me surprise I should have thought it would be the worst of worst. Why? Maybe because all of my useless friend gang come to have a dinner together. Those morons were literally standing outside the door like they were waiting for my arrival. As soon as they saw me they grinned like the idiot they are and rang the bell and soon my beautiful mama opened the door and hugged the gang and kissed their forehead and let them in. She smiled at Avery and kissed her forehead and told her to get in. As soon as eyes met mine the first thing that came out of her mouth was "come posso aiutarti?" (how may I help you?)

"Mama mi dispiace di non aver avuto il tempo di farti visita ero davvero occupato" I said giving her an apologetic face. (mama I'm sorry I didn't get time to visit you I was really busy.)

Yes, me and mama spoke in Italian because mama is Italian and so is my papa. Papa is only 30% Italian so, I'm not completely an Italian. We speak English most of the time but we also speak Italian at time. You know it just comes out naturally.

"When will you learn that noting is as important as family is Xander and start spending some time with your family huh?" she asked me with a bit worry on her face. I was about to tell maybe someday soon when my nincompoop friends and my sister shouted together told in unison "NEVERRRRR." Mama just smiled at them and hugged me and told me to come in. "I would have told you all to get comfortable but this is also your house so go and do what ever you want to do just don't break anything sì?" mama asked. "SI" everyone shouted. Mama gave them a smile and headed towards the kitchen.

Talking about my friends they are like my family. We have been though thick and thin they have always been there whenever I needed them and also when I didn't need them. We all met in middle school and have been together since then. My friends gang consists 4 people me, Noah, Riley and Liam. Avery also sometimes hang out with us whenever she feels she's lonely cuz that poor soul has no friends of her own because of an incident due to which she distanced herself from people. In short she had a gang of her own until they betrayed her. Longer version is for an another time but for now this will do.
