Chapter 26

Moving out

Emily's POV:

As soon as we landed at the airport we bid each other bye and started to leave to our respected home. It was already 9 pm when we landed. I and Eth reached our home after an hour and half. As soon as we entered we saw dad sitting in the living area watching a horror show. Eth and I looked at each other and smirked. We slowly moved towards dad and screamed "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Dad was holding a bag of chips and because of the sudden scream he was frightened and made all the chips fall everywhere on the couch and screamed "SON OF A GUN." Eth and I were a laughing mess by now.

"Hahaha! Very funny. Both of you clean this mess" he said glaring at us and indicated the fallen chips. I gave him puppy eyes "No" dad said looking at Eth. I came in front of him and once again gave him my puppy eyes but Eth closed my eyes and said "not happening Em. You can't put him under your puppy eyes spell. Let's clean this up soon" Eth said.

"Fineeeeee" I said and removed his hand which were covering my eyes and said "but before that" saying that I moved towards dad and hugged him tightly and said "I missed you dad" and dad pecked my forehead and said "I missed you too sweetie." Eth too joined our hug and soon me and Eth cleaned the mess.

"Em?" dad called me.

"Yes dad?"

"I had told Mrs. Robert to pack your bags and they are ready" he said.

"She just returned where else is she going?" Eth asked and I too nodded not knowing why dad had told Mrs. Robert to pack my bags.

"Since she is moving out" dad said softly.

"Moving out? Moving out wher.... Ohhh!" Eth said. That is when I remembered what uncle Theo's word. I had to move to Alex's house tomorrow.

"Right" I said or more like whispered to myself and realized the intensity of the situation and the realization made my eyes welled up with unleased tears.

"Em" Eth said and came and hugged me tightly.

"Do you really have to do this?" he asked me.

"I had to sooner or later" I said and with that a tear fell down from my eyes. Eth just hummed, soon we broke our hug only to find dad looking at us with tears in his eye and a huge box of ben and jerry chocolate brownie fudge flavored ice cream box.

"Lets make the most of it today" dad said and removed three spoons from his behind and I nodded.

After 2 long hours of watching modern family and 2 boxes of ice cream later.

Dad turned off the television and turned towards me and said "you do realize that you can come here whenever you want right?" he asked me and I nodded at him.

"Any trouble call us immediately do not hesitate or I will smack that head of yours got it?" Eth asked and I nodded at him too.

"I love you both" I said and hugged both of them.

"I love you too" both of them said.

"Lets go and take rest you guys need rest" dad said and we all went to respective rooms. When I entered my room everything was same. I went to closet to remove a night wear only to find most of my cloths missing. I then saw 5 huge bags near my balcony. I sighed and changed my clothes and went to sleep. As usual sleep didn't not come but this time the reason was not something related to my past but it was because of what my future hold from tomorrow.

The next morning.

It was around 9 am in the morning. Eth, dad, and I had our breakfast and we brought my bags down. Dad said that one of uncle Thoe's driver will come and pick me up. A horning sound came and I went outside to find Alex and Ryan in his car. As soon as Ryan saw me he tried to open the door and failed so Alex helped him. As soon as he stepped out he came running towards me I bent down to hold Ryan.
